I ended up getting toothpaste, bananas(looked Fresh & Great) & Pinot Noir for Sunday! They have a large variety of all different wines. I picked one that I haven't tried and it was on sale. Very organized and easy to find what you need! Clean too! Checkout after that and the worker was very kind. I paid for it, she bagged it for me and handed it over with good day wishes! Appreciated! We found out they also do take and bake dinners and pizzas that the long time customers in line were raving to us about, so I definitely want to try! People were stopping in for pizza by the slice and other goodies. They also carry select home supplies, a few wines and beers, non alcoholic drinks, some jellies and jams that looked amazing.....ugh. Ken's Market offers a range of items, from basic grocery items to drinks, ice, ice cream, fishing gear, meds, personal care items, and even Shaver Lake merchandise. Moreover, the staff has always been exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our visits all the more pleasant. The prices have increased over the years, but as a convenience store, it is what it is.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon after the river and were instantly welcomed by Oscar and his wife. The brewery has a wide selection of beers, all brewed by Oscar himself, and he was kind enough to let us sample whatever we wanted. Every beer we tried was excellent. We hung out for a while chatting with him, and even asked if he knew of a place to watch an English Premier League game the next day. The closest was in Fresno--until Oscar went above and beyond. He told us not to worry, that he would open the brewery just for us on Sunday, even though he's usually closed! The next day we showed up, and Oscar not only opened the doors but let us use our camping stove outside to make tacos. We all enjoyed them together--Oscar included! We expected to stay for about two hours but ended up staying close to five because we were having such a blast. Oscar gave us a tour of the brewery, made us feel like family in his home, gifted us a round on him, and even let us put on some music where we sang at the top of our lungs. I know this is a long review, but it's for a reason. Most breweries can feel impersonal--serve the beer and move on to the next customer. Shuteye Brewery is different. Oscar connects with people and shows, through his actions, that he truly cares about making sure you have a beautiful experience. On top of that, he's dedicated to his community, constantly doing outreach projects to give back. Simply put, the beer is great, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner is amazing. This place is a gem, and I'll be making it a must-stop every time I'm in the area.

He said something about it being brewed like a saison so it was as if I was getting a sour and a lager and honestly I loved it. They had games here too. Everyone was friendly and it was very clean.
