The coffee servers were all empty. Do not advertise that you sell coffee, unless you specify-until we run out.

The Americano was really hot and they even warm the cream for you. The sandwich tasted really good. Lots of avocado and the lemondono is as sweet which made the sandwich savory with a sweet little kick. The lady working the counter was extremely friendly and personable. It's located by the Metra so it's a perfect place to come by and grab a bite before getting on the train or even just work for a bit. Overall, a great experience and will definitely be back!

Lots more than just coffee. They have salads which are fresh. A lot on the menu which is crazy. It's not that big of a place. They have mostly a selection of pastries and salads. Coffee is the best thing to get. It's about $6 for a specialty. Best of these is the Brown Shaken Espresso. This is choice of milk along with cocoa powder, dark chocolate, and double espresso which is kickass. A thing to really get one going. It's about $9 for a salad. They have a few of these. I got the Arugula Pecan Salad. This also has balsamic glaze, cranberries, garlic pickle, lodolemono, onion crisps, pecans, and tomatoes. It was enough. She got the Avocado Toast. Basic looking. There's also paninis. Chill place to get breakfast or lunch. It's located on Cicero at 157th. This is across from the Metra station.

They had a large main dining room with coffee bar to sit at as well as some back spaces to host events. They recently got new owners who are going to revamp the menu and offer more events to the community. Their menu was smaller but intriguing. They had great signature drink flavors that could be applied to different coffee style drinks. I got the Lavender Shortbread flavor as an iced latte and loved it! My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. I'm sure they have other tea drinks that may have been more favorable as well. I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy a cup inside rather than to-go.

Pekoe & Bean is a longtime local favorite for breakfast and lunch too. A pretty simple menu great for groups. The prices are kind of high on a few items but it's great quality. Basic items are on the menu that are familiar. It's of course got coffee and tea. They have quite a variety. A lot of the classic favorites. Some unique specialties. It's about $6 to get a latte. They have a few of these. I got the Bananas Foster Latte. This is made with banana syrup. Also they have non dairy milks. The food menu includes salads and sandwiches. It's about $7 for a bowl of chili. This is vegan. Has quite a bit spiciness to it. This is a great one to warm up with. Also they have carrot soup which is great. They also have lots of pastries. Get great stuff at breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. It's open at breakfast and lunch. This is located on Oak Park Avenue at 171st Street.

It could have used a little more sausage. I was surprised when they gave me four eggs, usually two. It was absolutely packed, with not a single extra seat available. Even though it was busy, they seated us within minutes, and we lucked out with a really nice waitress. We had seven people in our group, and the waitress didn't make a fuss about separate checks.

I'm pretty particular about things and I think this place is one of the best restaurants in the SW suburbs. For breakfast I usually get the Gypsy Skillet that actually comes with four eggs; never cooked wrong. I just recently ordered and now addicted to the Patty Melt that is a half pound (pure beef w no gristle) char/flame broiled that is not often seen and always has been perfectly cooked to order. They have great soups too! The waitress/waiters are all helpful and really friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. They always have it decorated for each holiday with pleasant non-obnoxious background music. Alcohol is served, and they now have three Mimosa "towers" which I never even knew was a thing! I can't think of ANYTHING to complain about; worth your patronage for sure!
