The Americano was really hot and they even warm the cream for you. The sandwich tasted really good. Lots of avocado and the lemondono is as sweet which made the sandwich savory with a sweet little kick. The lady working the counter was extremely friendly and personable. It's located by the Metra so it's a perfect place to come by and grab a bite before getting on the train or even just work for a bit. Overall, a great experience and will definitely be back!

This one stays open until 7:00 p.m. during the week! When I first walked in, I had a terrible experience with Brittany. She seemed very preoccupied and when I asked her to explain something on the menu, she told me "it's pretty much what it says." When I expressed my displeasure with her response, she grabbed a menu to read it explaining that it was just added to the menu as if that excused her behavior. This left a very sour taste in my mouth but because I had a meeting, I sat down after ordering a pistachio latte. The Latte was amazing! Before leaving I ordered a second one, but I stayed and spent the day working. There are plenty of seats and there are a couple of really comfy couch spots. After a few people left, I was able to move to one of those spots and felt right at home. After Brittany left, I was able to relax a little bit more and had a very productive work day. The music is louder than I like; I had to take two business calls and both times they mentioned the noise level, but other than that,I love this spot. It is across the street from the metra train station where parking is free, so I don't anticipate ever coming here and having a hard time finding parking. I ended up eating lunch here and had a Cuban sandwich which was so good! And it was huge... So I took half home for dinner. The south suburbs need more places like this! I can't wait to come back.

They had a large main dining room with coffee bar to sit at as well as some back spaces to host events. They recently got new owners who are going to revamp the menu and offer more events to the community. Their menu was smaller but intriguing. They had great signature drink flavors that could be applied to different coffee style drinks. I got the Lavender Shortbread flavor as an iced latte and loved it! My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. I'm sure they have other tea drinks that may have been more favorable as well. I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy a cup inside rather than to-go.

Pekoe & Bean is a longtime local favorite for breakfast and lunch too. A pretty simple menu great for groups. The prices are kind of high on a few items but it's great quality. Basic items are on the menu that are familiar. It's of course got coffee and tea. They have quite a variety. A lot of the classic favorites. Some unique specialties. It's about $6 to get a latte. They have a few of these. I got the Bananas Foster Latte. This is made with banana syrup. Also they have non dairy milks. The food menu includes salads and sandwiches. It's about $7 for a bowl of chili. This is vegan. Has quite a bit spiciness to it. This is a great one to warm up with. Also they have carrot soup which is great. They also have lots of pastries. Get great stuff at breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. It's open at breakfast and lunch. This is located on Oak Park Avenue at 171st Street.

This morning I went…read moreinside the Dunkin' because I wanted to use my points for one free coffee and one of my favorite ice coffee. When I walked in, there was a guy and his son first leaving out and the cashier was nice to them, however when I walked in the store, I've felt her mean look. I was polite and placed my order and explained to her I wanted to redeem my points for the coffee. She had an attitude like I was making her job harder, but rung me up. She wasn't welcoming. People like her a person cant trust especially if they are making your drinks and food. I had to really watch her when she was making my drinks. When she gave me my drinks, I've smiled at her and thanked her, she wasn't welcoming, cold and stared at me like I was nothing. As a woman who once was a cashier at a couple of restaurants during my college years , I was raised to treat people how I wanted to be treated. Of course we all people that are different races and cultures from all over. She wasn't welcoming to the gentlemen whom came in behind me and he too is an African American. I offer this advice, if you don't want to work for and in the public, find another job that is fitting. To the manager and even the owner of this store. I suggest that the staff need be more trained with customer service and even go over the code of ethics and conduct. You lost me as a customer and I will not return back to this location and plan to contact corporate Human Resources. Also, to the cashier whom had the nasty disposition this morning around the 8:30 AM to 9 am, fix the attitude. I also suggest that she may need to go to a waxing and threading salon, her mustache didn't help with my experience either. Season Greetings. I will continue to run on Dunkin, but not this one!
