This…read morebusiness is a Barista style operation where they have basically alll the drinks you would expect to see at a coffee shop of this nature. For my first drink here I ended up getting a latte where the espresso was made from organic fresh roasted in house beans. The drink was very well made with the correct ratio of milk to espresso and was creamy, balanced, where the espresso clearly shined through and most importantly the drink was quite tasty. Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop. The facility is quite clean with a nice coffee shop vibe to it. It has a smaller footprint with a limited number of tables for indoor dining where they also sell fresh roasted coffee beans by the bag, some pastries, and prepared food among other things. Overall great coffee at a reasonable price and a friendly owner makes this a shop not to be missed if you in the Novi area. Especially if you are a coffee geek like me.

If you are a fan of tiramisu latte, this is the only place to get it. We tried the pistachio matcha cloud latte (with a shot of espresso) over the weekend and a couple pastries- ham and cheese crossiant and ham and cheese toast that's topped with corn cheese. I absolutely LOVE the h&c crossiant. They do add an aioli that might throw some people off, so beware if you are not a fan of mayo or spice. Since opening, service has always been friendly and much quicker. And I love that they changed up the seating areas- they added cushioned seating along the back windows. This is a great place to come for a quick bite, meet up with friends, or even while you're waiting to rotate your tires. A huge plus is, they are open 365 days a year!

I didn't think anything was outstanding. I like the fact that the donuts weren't overly sweet but still tasty. It was probably the consistency that was not my favorite. I would like to try some of the savory items next time, including the sandwiches. Aesthetically, Paris baguette is nice, it was smaller than I expected, and that is fine. What stood out is the prices for pretty much everything are quite high. Individual items started about four dollars so, if you decide to get a bunch of stuff, it would be cost prohibitive. The person at the counter was pleasant enough. I noticed that the person working was the only one who was customer facing. I did not see any other employees. This can become an issue when that particular one person is making a coffee drink for somebody and it does take a long time to get back to the people in line. That is no fault of that person at all and I understand. Overall, the experience was decent. I will probably give them another try in the near future just to try other items.

The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. Cost less than $25 The custard danish is quite strange. The custard isn't smooth, more of a ricotta texture and feel. The danish is rather heavy to me. Not so yummy to me.
