I absolutely LOVE the h&c crossiant. They do add an aioli that might throw some people off, so beware if you are not a fan of mayo or spice. Since opening, service has always been friendly and much quicker. And I love that they changed up the seating areas- they added cushioned seating along the back windows. This is a great place to come for a quick bite, meet up with friends, or even while you're waiting to rotate your tires. A huge plus is, they are open 365 days a year!

The person at the counter was pleasant enough. I noticed that the person working was the only one who was customer facing. I did not see any other employees. This can become an issue when that particular one person is making a coffee drink for somebody and it does take a long time to get back to the people in line. The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. Cost less than $25 The custard danish is quite strange. The custard isn't smooth, more of a ricotta texture and feel. The danish is rather heavy to me. Not so yummy to me. The garlic cheese and bacon bun is an open sandwich and is extremely greasy. The almond cookies are okay. The garlic hotdog is what it says, it's so-so. Coffee and pastries were all underwhelming.
