So thankful it was in the quiet and quaint neighborhood of New Haven. Such a beautiful area. Very close to all the spots I had bookmarked. Cool coffee shop I gotta say. Spacious and clean. Just the actual vibe alone was relaxing. This is one of those locations where you can actually come sit and not be bothered. Few people inside were working on their laptops, some were just conversing with their friends. The barista was super friendly and worked fast. One thing I noticed and was wowed on was they serve wine as well. I mean how cool is that. Felt like I was at France for a minute, where the cafes serve coffee, tea and qwasonts during the day, and cocktails at night. Very chill. Can't thank them enough for how clean the bathroom was as well. All in all great coffee and service.

Not a lot of favor and no sweet at all which I thought that was interesting. The server did over to add more honey but I opted out because I was in a rush. They seemed business though. It has a cozy, small town, eclectic feel that makes it a fun spot to grab a drink and take a break. I got the maple hojicha latte with oat milk, and I really enjoyed it. The roasted hojicha flavor came through nicely, while the maple added a subtle sweetness without overpowering the tea. I liked that the drink still had the distinctive hojicha flavor rather than tasting like a super-sweet maple latte. Staff is super friendly and patient with me as I took some time to decide on my order. A fun spot to stop if you're looking for something a little different from the usual coffee spots.

When I pulled up to pick it up 2 minutes later, the rude barista said to me over the intercom 'you need to give us more time to make your coffee' ... I next waited behind 3 cars a total of 8 minutes before I actually got my coffee. Well over the time frame my coffee was supposed to be ready. In addition, what is the difference if I simply drove up through the drive through and ordered it right then and there, and not ahead of time through my app? I know the manager Baez would be disappointed at this lack of customer service. To make matters worse, the barista basically threw the coffee at me, didn't look at me, or greet me. I said thank you and she literally gave me a dirty look. I frequent this starbucks all of the time and I am extremely disappointed. Looking at other online reviews, others share the same sentiment.

They also don't sell bags of beans. The latte and Americano we got were so weak tasting. They are kind of a bar but the atmosphere is really not anything remotely like a bar. It's hard to imagine popping in here for a glass of wine. Kind of a tea house but not leaning into this. Pick something and do it well. I live down the street but most times when I get an inkling to go here it's closed. Sometimes the vibes are super weird too.
