After a failed attempt to find the Shell in nearby Marriottsville, we unfortunately found ourselves…read moreat this Exxon. The gas pump worked just fine, so two stars for that. But inside the convenience store was another story. Really, I want to leave 1 star for the experience, but you can at least buy gas here. The women's restroom was out of order and it was unclear if my toddler and I were supposed to just use the men's restroom or if there was another option. I had to repeatedly ask the employee standing a couple of feet from me no less than six times if I was just supposed to use the men's stall. He ignored me for the longest time, never acknowledging my existence. My husband was desperate for coffee, but there was only the bottom of a cold pot and the heater was off. He said it tasted terrible. There were not a lot of grab-n-go food options besides chips, bars, and candy. We rushed to leave this mediocre Exxon, never to return.

I am completely unimpressed with this Walgreens. The incompetence of the staff is baffling. My…read moregrandfather had retired from Walgreens some forty years ago and had a card that allowed him employee benefits at any location for life. The manager/employee at the front refused to do it, telling me that only active employees get the discount, when the card clearly stated my grandfather was eligible for said discount. Then the employee had the gall to apologize because he "didn't want to get in trouble." This is not the first bad experience at this Walgreens. I continually have issues with this location and the employees. My grandfather felt hurt and disappointed as he has given a lot of years to this company, and should have been given the employee discount. Sad that this policy isn't followed when the card clearly stated the benefits, and had it signed by the CEO. Do better, Walgreens, but especially at this location.

I'm share a positive shout out for this highs convenience store…read more First of all, I really enjoy the fact that highs still serves hand scooped ice cream that's a old fashion luxury you can find in many places evening, so-called ice cream stores that serve soft, serve ice cream This past Sunday, 14 May, Mother's Day, I stopped in there and a gentleman name. Sean greeted me at the door. As I expected, I saw my favorite ice cream flavor and his partner and coworker very artfully. Serve me a scoop of ice cream and treated me like a gentleman. I even inquired around the restroom and they graciously showed me where to find it warning me that one of the restaurants was out of order. I had to pinch myself because I thought I went back in the Time Machine when manners and Customer Service, or something that was common place like maybe three decades are for decades ago

Okay, so CVS Pharmacy now closes for lunch, but not at a normal time, rather 1:30pm to 2:00pm…read more I knew this but forgot what time lunch was so I go over at 1:30pm, thinking this should be a good time to go. Also looked on their app and website for pharmacy hours and didn't see a lunch time. I go over and they close right when I walked up. I told them they really need to post the lunch time on the app and website, which the Pharmacist, in a smart alec way told me it was there on the sites. I left the pharmacy ticked off, but wanted to double check the sites and it took a while, but I found the lunch time in small gray print, which is easily missed even with my glasses on. She could have been nice about it, but I imagine patrons come in all the time having the same issue. As soon as I do not have to use CVS pharmacy, I'll go anywhere else.
