I don't know about all of the negative reviews. Maybe they had a change of management, but the…read morestaff is always nice whenever I've stopped by. The store is small, but organized well. The items are of course way overpriced and for some odd reason literally every hot food item is overcooked to the point where it's almost burnt. The owner or whoever working the toaster oven obviously is obsessed with cracker crust or new haven style pizza because Christ almighty everything they serve is a brick from the pizza to the mini tacos, burritos and even chicken. Usually you see 7-11s have the hot food stacked on deck because they fly off the shelves, but not here and it's no wonder why. They do have a nice selection of items including limited edition snacks and drinks. If you can't find it anywhere else, it's usually in stock here or at the Circle K across the street.

On Halloween I stopped in to buy a 12 pack of soda. I paid nearly ten bucks for it but it was easier than going to a giant grocery store. I'm a pleasant person and I said hello to the cashier. Nothing. She scanned my purchase. I paid with visa. The end. Nothing. This ignorant woman couldn't even tell me thanks or to have a nice day. She then followed me outside to smoke in front of the store. Will I return? Hopefully not. If you don't want to do your job right then quit. Lots of people need work. B.

Unfortunately when the last owner I believe his name was Greg took over, a lot of the long time employees disappeared. Those workers were some of the friendliest people and great workers. It felt like a real life cheers (a place where everybody knows your name), except minus it not being a bar. Apparently it's a corporate store now. One good thing about it being a corporate store is the prices are lower. Unfortunately like anything that is corporate run it has lost a lot of it's charm. I remember they had a simple tribute to fallen officers on one wall. That wall is now bare. I thought it was an excellent touch considering how many officers visit that place (and spend their money), An upside is Debra who usually works days and Elaine who works nights. I believe they are the only two remaining from the White Hen Pantry days. Still two of the friendliest people I've met working in a 7-Eleven. Hopefully the guys at corporate are smart enough to keep them because if they don't, I might have to find a new place for my snacks. By the way, I eat a lot of snacks!

Even the stickers on the pizza weren't attached properly so only only 1 out of 3 were actually closed. Last time I ordered hot food from here (Johnsonville cheddar bratwurst) I got norovirus and was sick for 3 weeks with diarrhea and was dehydrated because of it. Ended up losing almost 30lbs. Do NOT eat the food from here!

I waited 15 minutes and when I got to the window at 6.35 they said they're closing the drive thru & to come back after lunch. Lunch is supposed to be 6.45. They're understaffed and unorganized. It's completely ridiculous they can't just pass me my medicine, it took just as long for her to tell me to come back in 40 minutes. Joke.

If I could get away from Walgreens entirely I would. My previous insurance actually forced CVS, and while I didn't exactly love their pharmacy I would do anything to be able to switch back. I never had close to the kind of negative experiences there that I have at this Walgreens nearly every time. There is almost always an unreasonably long wait. Average wait time here is longer than the longest I ever waited at CVS. I'm talking about just picking up prescriptions that are already filled, not waiting for them to be filled. There has been an acceptable number of times they've failed to complete orders for various reasons such as claiming the doctor never sent the prescription (this has happened essentially every time I had a new prescription sent here), to failing to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. Today I went to find they still had not filled a prescription that was sent to them yesterday morning. When I went there five hours after it had been sent to them yesterday and they had not filled it yet they told me it would be done today. So now I return approximate 30 hours after the scrip order was sent and they still haven't filled it. They said it won't be filled until Monday and no one ever notified me about it. They claimed I wasn't notified because I'm not in their notification system but that's an obvious lie because I receive a frustratingly obnoxious amount of notifications from them when a scrip is ready or even when it's due to be refilled. It's a 5 day prescription that I have a follow up appointment for on Tuesday, so i'll have to go after not having been given the treatment.

I usually come here for coffee and donuts, but recently I tried a few other things on their menu. We brunch and ordered plenty, but the food missed the mark for me. The food gives heavy dinner food, made with not a drop of seasoning. I didn't feel the need to take images of the lack of flavor food. Although the food was disappointing, I'll return for the service and homemade donuts. Plus the location has a cool mom and pops vibe.

Beverly Bakery & Cafe was a lot better than we expected at first. Kind of in a not so impressive area to be honest. The atmosphere inside it though has a cozy feeling and the food was impressive with pretty big portions. Basically we were going to a few bars early when we saw this and thought to get something to eat first. It's in a kind of unassuming area with sketchy looking auto shops. The inside is a lot better though. Actually pretty impressed with it. Menu has lots of choices for any preference. Certainly one of the few great places for breakfast around here. It's about $13 for an entree which comes with a lot. Filling. I chose a hearty one, the Vegan Skillet. This has green peppers, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and zucchini. A lot packed into it. She got the French Toast. Made with soy milk. This comes topped with bananas or blueberries, good stuff. For sure we could go here again. It's closed Mondays. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.
