When I say coffee shop, Afro Joes is what I'm looking for. Great customer service, cozy interior, natural light, drink specials and light bites! The short rib grilled cheese is THEE sandwich to order. Their cucumber salad on the side is amazing. This time I ordered the Blue Magic which is an ice latte with blueberry and lavender flavored topped with strawberry cold foam. I love earthy flavors so this was perfect. I also ordered the butternut squash danish. It was very flaky and the filling wasn't too sweet. A nice compliment to my drink. My mom ordered the Kayla Chai which she said was good! There was live singing during my visit which put the cherry on top.

Ordered my usually and instead of duck bacon it has regular bacon which I can't eat. They basically said they couldn't replace it because they don't make mistakes and it wasn't on the receipt. So I was instructed to throw it in the garbage and no type of replacement would be given. What a way to treat people. We all know things happen. $16 waisted.

I wasn't hungry yet so I only had the rasmalai tiramisu latte. They served a hot drink in a cup with no handles so I had to wait to hold the cup before I could sip on it. She also had the black bean sweet potato taco which she enjoyed.

A team member was helping another older gentleman that was getting his order. It seemed that he was a regular. No one said a word to me.or even barely looked at me. Three two other employees came over and gave the older gentleman something but no one even asked what i needed or called out any order # after about 7 minutes one of the employees that had helped the other gentleman several times finally said did you need something. I said yes I'm just trying to pick up my order and its probably cold now. Instead of apologizing her response was you should have said something. So instead of them doing their jobs they want the customer to do it for them. If a customer is standing there right in front of you and looking right at their order that's been sitting there and several employees just walk back and forth right past it without saying anything then that is horrible customer service. It is not the customers job to say something when they are standing right in front of you, it is your job to first greet the customer and ask how may i help you. I am standing in the order pick at the front so obviously I am there to pick up an order. This place needs a change of ownership because this is a constant problem. I will never visit this Mcdonalds again. Unfortunately this is a problem in pretty much most of the Mcdonalds in in our neighborhoods! Poor customer service, poor training and poor attitudes!!!!!!

The two ladies that work there today had such a vibrant and fun energy! They were both patient & really kind. The flavors don't overpower one another. She used a ceremonial matcha & the matcha color is such a vibrant green, love to see it! The sweet potato latte wasn't overly strong, I think you could taste their house spice blend, I didn't taste too much sweet potatoes, however the flavors compliment each other beautifully. Overall, their drinks are super creative & they seem really innovative with their menu. Thanks for all the vibes and good drink recommendations :)
