The good it the food comes out pretty fast but the area is just horrible like yesterday I went and there where people yelling

I guess it's time for my once every couple of years McDonald's review A bit chaotic which leads to orders taking longer than necessary.It took maybe 10 minutes for my order even though there was only two people other than me standing in line inside the restaurant, but to be fair the drive-thru was packed. The place seems to be newly renovated with the modern McDonald's design so everything looks nice. They even have the digital ordering menu although it definitely is placed in an awkward spot right next to the normal line. The staff is friendly & the food fresh. The fries were piping hot & deliciously salty as always. The jalapeno McDouble was meh. The beef was bland. As for the hot & spicy McChicken is was ok, but nothing like the McChickens of yesteryear. Presentation isn't the strong point here either, food is pretty messy with lettuce, onions, etc. spilling into the wrapper. Overall, same old disappointing McDonald's. The fries are always epic, but everything else leaves much to be desired. At least your wallet won't be hurting. 4 out of 5 stars read more

The customer service system at McDonald's needs to be fixed because it is broken. I have had incidents at McDonald's where they forgot my shake and my coke. I called corporate and they said they would give me a gift card, but they never do, and it never arrives in the mail, so I am not sure what is wrong with the system. I then emailed the corporate representatives about a problem. Every time I call corporate, I do not get help for two weeks, sometimes three, or never at all. She said there was nothing she could do despite my constant calling. You guys have to improve. No lies, they are stingy when it comes to fries. The environment is appalling, and the customer service is even worse. The staff is extremely impolite. You just need to improve the way you handle situations when Corporate is called upon and the way you handle your customers. read more

How can you mess up an order? How can you mess up an uber eats order? We pay more on uber eats and it's a shame to not get the items you paid for. I ordered hot cakes and sausage and my order came with no butter, syrup, a fork, or napkins. My decaf coffee was missing. How does this happen? I don't understand. And when you have to constantly complain to Uber eats , they stop refunding you. It's not the customer's fault that the workers are incompetent. This makes me not want to order food anymore. I called the management at the restaurant and she apologized. What's an apology? I need my money back plus more for the inconvenience. The iced coffee tasted like old water and syrup, very nasty. Where to start. Got to the drive thru and was told "cash only today in the drive thru". No signs posted anywhere to warn customers so if you waited in a long line to get up to the speaker, and don't have cash, you just wasted your time and might have to wait for an opening to get out of the drive thru line. I luckily had cash and ordered two egg white delights and an Ice coffee with cream and sugar. Paid at window 1 as I listen to the associate tell drivers over the intercom that "drive thru is cash only today". Lol. Associate confirmed my order of 2 sandwiches with no meat and a large Iced coffee with 3 sugars. I Pull to pick up window and am handed a bag with sandwiches by an associate who asks me if I received my Iced coffee. I thought it was an Odd question since I'm just pulling up to the window. She goes off to make the Iced Coffee and then gets sidetracked (it happens) and then a different associate comes and asks me if I ordered an Iced coffee. I confirm yes and then she tells me no regular sugar but I can have a flavored sweetener. I tell her I'll have the hazelnut but I don't want it very sweet so go easy on the sweetener. I get my coffee and drive off. I take a sip of the coffee as I'm pulling out the parking lot and it's sweet enough to give you diabetes instantly...yuck. Whatever, I'll dilute it when I get home. I get home open up my sandwiches and guess what's on there, the Canadian bacon I asked them to exclude. They were batting a negative 1000 today. read more

I came to your location on 7/2/20 at 9:30pm. There were about 4-5 cars ahead of me, so I decided to place a curbside order. I waited 15 minutes for my food to come out as your employees assured drive thru customers, but my food was just sitting there. I feel that is unacceptable as their should be at least one dedicated employee for curbside if one comes about. After my experience, I refuse to come back to this location. read more

Worse experience. When I entered, there were three employees handling food with masks under their noses and a customer at the counter with no mask at all. When I complained, I was verbally attacked by two of the men behind the counter who stated that , they cannot keep their masks up. Perhaps the board of health can assist them with suggestions. I was refunded my money and asked to leave rather than correct the problem. Cdc guidelines require ALL food establishments to follow ppe to ensure the public is not being fed covid. Worst McDonald's i ever been to i was waiting in the drive thru for 30 mins so i decided to order on the app and wait in the reserve spot for them to walk out give me my order. Biggest mistake ever i was waiting in the reserved spot for over an hour and got a notification saying my food was delivered how? I'm very disappointed with this location. I attempted to utilize the McDonald's App for breakfast for my grandson and I with total disaster. They don't realize that I've used this application a few times without incident at other locations. At this location when I arrived, they did know what I was talking about regarding my App order then they said that they were having problems with their computer which didn't have anything to do with me! I've already paid for the order and they wanted me to pay again which was told me ridiculous! I asked management to assist me they ignored me for a period of time and I believe I waited almost 15 minutes before anybody even say it does nothing they're gonna do about this which is totally ridiculous I almost missed an appointment. Every time I look at this location I become certain that I received this type of service and they have done nothing to rectify. Every time I go to this McDonald's it takes double the expected time. Today it took 14 minutes to get through the drive through as I watched one employee on her phone through the drive through window. They tried to give me the wrong food and when I corrected them, they wanted to see my receipt. Do yourself a favor and go to the Wendy's across the street. Not the best McDonalds in the area. Drive thru is slow and they park way too many cars. And accuracy is about 50%. Customer service at this location is also not great, lots of attitude with huffing and puffing if you call them out on bad service or incorrect orders. I stopped going to this location and now drive the extra distance to the McDonalds on 95th and Ashland, which is always a much better and pleasant experience. read more

McDonald's is a great restaurant. I like the chicken nuggets, I love how crispy they are. I also like their well done, salty fries. McDonald's is very cheap which is great. McDonald's doesn't make me wait for more than ten minutes to get my order, which I love. This place has a toothsome caramel Mcfrappe. This restaurant is clean so you don't have to worry about stepping on some random fries on the ground. They also have a clean bathroom. I personally never seen the bathroom messy. I always had a great experience dining here. Overall, this place has great, delicious food that is well priced and it has great service. read more

This is the worst McDonald's in the entire area of Chicago let me begin with the story of last year for when I decided I would never go back to McDonald's but I decided to give them another opportunity again today last year I ordered a smoothie and inside the Smoothie were pieces of paper that were chopped into the shake mix today I went in for breakfast I had chosen to give them another chance and I went through the drive-thru began my order and the lady informed me that it was only breakfast and I wanted breakfast and lunch so then that was fine I waited until 10:30 got back through the drive-thru was like 10:31 and she said they weren't ready for lunch yet so I needed to give them five additional minutes I gave them 5 additional minutes got back into the line getting ready to place my order at this time she informs me that they are no longer doing breakfast I said or asked them are they no longer doing breakfast all day and she replied by saying they're not doing it today so of course I simply left the line but I was extremely disgusted read more

Horrible experience not once, not twice but three times. I will not be giving them my business anymore. The last visit was the worst, I go into the restaurant and the manager has this long hair down to her a$$ with no hair net on and she's handling food. All the employees had on one but with her being the manager she should have had one on first. Then when I brought it to one of the other employees attention both her and the manager smirked and laughed at me. Then she loudly states let me put a hair net on, while glaring at me. I waited about 30 minutes for my food, no lie. Then I check my food and it was wrong. The manager got mad at me for the prior no hair net thing so she slung my food at me with disgust. While I have never written a review about a fast food restaurant and possibly no one will read this but I must write about the most rude and discourteous treatment experienced at a fast food restaurant. Today I placed my order at the drive-thru after which the cashier quoted a total of $8.25 for an order that I know should be $5.10. In shock I stated "8.25! What are you charging me for and this is where my experience started my boiling point. The cashier states "don't you see the prices on that board out there?" I informed her that her sacrcasm was unwarranted when I know that she over charged me. She states "you order 2 number 2"s". I informed her that she was incorrect at which time she corrected the order but failed to acknowledge her mistake. Pulled up to the window to hear her ignorant @@@ syas loudly "I know what I heard even my manager heard the same thing" now I'm really upset. Again I corrected her but she was adamant that I said what she believe I said. Never once apologized. Then I spoke with the manager who turned out to be twice as ignorant. When I told her my experience she looked as if to say "so!" Then flatly said "sorry" I gladly informed them they need a crash course on appropriate customer service. I'm not the one who complains, but my experience today April 8, 2017 (1043pm) was horrible. I arrived at the drive thru on 83rd and Ashland Ave to noone asking if they could take my order. So after waiting 5 minutes and several "hellos" I drove to the 1st window. Upon my arrival to the window I was greeted by a "WATCHU WANT?" Not, "May I take your order or Welcome to McDonalds, may I take your order?". She said "Watchu want?". No etiquette at all! I gave her the opportunity to correct herself by repeating what she said. All she could do was stare at the wall in front of her. I took my money elsewhere. Customer service training is definitely needed at this location! I then drove to the location on 78th and Western and asked the manager for corporates number, she refused to give it to me! McDonalds will not get another dime of my money!!! Good morning. Last night (06/25/2019) at 10:08PM my son wanted some McDonald's. since this is one of the McDonald's that is close to my apartment we decided to go here. We get to McDonald's and the speakers are so low that you can't hear the employee speaking to you. Then the young that was on the speaker was low, you could barely hear her, and she did not have any excitement, or enthusiasm about her while taking my order. My son ordered two regular McChickens, but he wanted to add on to his order. The young at the back window told me (through the speaker) to pill around and add the rest of our order at the back window. I pulled to the back window and the young lady that took my order had her phone to her left ear (which was facing me). Not once did she turn around to acknowledge that she had a customer at her window. This young lady continued with her phone call, as well as placing other orders. While sitting there waiting the young lady also had time to play with one of her co-workers. She still had not acknowledged the fact that I was sitting at her window (burning my gas out). After 2 minutes passed I drove to the second window and no one was there at that window to greet "McDonald's Customer". Eventually the young man that was playing with the young lady at the back window comes to the front window and was about to give me someone else's order. His manager stopped him, and told him that wasn't the right order. My order (two McChickens were sitting at the Drive-Thru window getting cold. The young man asked me did I have the two McChickens? At this point I'm upset. I told young that I wanted to speak to a Manager. He act as though he did not hear me. And he asked me "you want to see a manager"? I said, "Yes. Let me speak to your manager. He went and got the manager. The manager came to the window immediately and before I could say anything the manager Tiana (If that was her name) asked me did I have the two McChickens, and she proceeded asking was I going to add the fry and the drink to the order. I told her NO. I explained to this Manager that her Co-worker felt that it was okay for her to talk on her cell phone and not acknowledge the fact that she had customer's in her Drive-Thru. The Manager wanted to give me my whole order for free. I will not be disrespected in my own neighborhood. It doesn't matter what time of the day, afternoon, evening my family and I go to this McDonald's there is always a problem with my order, or someone has an attitude. I was not going to accept free food do to the fact that it shouldn't had happened from the beginning. If the Mananger felt as though she could keep me quiet with "GIVING" me free food she was sadly mistaken. No one ever has on name tags no matter what time of the day it is. Sometimes their uniforms are not clean, neat and their shirts (especially on night shifts) are never tucked in. And I shouldn't have to waste my gas to go all the way across town just to be serviced correctly, or receive GREAT customer service skills. I worked at several different McDonald's for 18 years. I was a Manger at all of my McDonald's for 13 years out of the 18 years. And I have never seen or experienced anything like this from any of my former McDonald's. this McDonald's on 83rd and Ashland has been here since I was a baby or for as long as I can remember. And it is really sad that this is the only McDonald's that is ion this neighborhood that I ALWAYS have a problem. You can say I'm complaining, you all can say whatever. The problem is we don't complain enough. And it is not fair I live in this neighborhood and I have to go out of the neighborhood just to get good service. We have to do better in our community. We have to want better for our community. This is totally unacceptable. Yes, I can stop coming, but I won't because every time I come to this McDonald's and shirts are not tucked in, and attitudes are not adjusted, and i don't see name tags, and the manager feels that i can be bought with free food, i will be taking names and consulting Corporate. The black Manger that is there i n the morning times (mostly) told me to come to him anytime I'm not pleased. i am a big fan of eating where it looks clean and workers prepare your food with precise sanitation skills. i have been in the fast food area where i seen some workers not caring how they prepared the food. i can happily say that this location at mcdonalds is a place you would love to eat without any problems. satisfaction is located here to you liking in every area. read more
