Let me begin by saying the employees are nice here and the location is ideal. I've never had a bad interaction with anyone at this location, BUT this location is TOO BUSY. If you want to go there, you have to strategically order via the app and give yourself at least 15 minutes to arrive there and there is a 50/50 chance you'll still wait another ten minutes. I've left orders there multiple times because the wait was just too long. Although this is a more convenient location for me, I've started going to other locations that move faster. read more

I couldn't check in because yelp was under maintenance at the time. Darn it! I wanted to earn the credit for the check-in. Well, I will let it go this time. Anyhow, I found this particular location more magnificent-looking because of the gray-bricks on the exterior. I was given a Starbucks gift card, yet I normally don't visit this chain. However, free money needed to be spent and we were at a lovely, nice neighborhood. My conclusion told me that it couldn't be wrong stepping into a Starbucks. This location was quite busy at 1100 hour on a Thursday. The cashier was efficient in taking customers' orders and the barista were working quickly. The drinks tasted just fine. Speaking of Starbucks-crafted drinks, they are just plain saccharides in my opinion. I didn't have much expectations whatsoever. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm extremely picky on my coffee, and the independent coffee shops are getting my business because they brew much better coffee than what Starbucks can do. The coffee shop itself was actually well-decorated, with comfy couches and seats throughout the venue. Sorry to digress: there was a nice lady commenting on my butterfly ring that was wearing since she's a super fan of butterflies. The neighborhood residents seemed to enjoy patronizing this place, so Starbucks...I guess you're doing fine here. I'm not a big coffee person but ever since Panera on 95th and western left, I've been looking for a place to study or sit out. It's a bit small and can be congested while crowded, but it's a nice place to grab some coffee and sit out on the patio. I like this location because it doesn't feel like your typical Starbucks. In the summertime, it's nice to sit outside. Feels like you are on a little vacation almost. Located in a beautiful part of the Beverly neighborhood. Customer service here is excellent. My only complaint is that the parking is a little too small. read more

I always order my coffee when I'm 15 minutes away. It's always busy at 7:15 (which I can't blame them for) but it's really frustrating when I can clearly see my order sitting there and no one is handing out mobile orders. I use to go to the register and say I have a mobile order and they tell me to wait by the mobile orders, but don't inform any of the staff that I'm waiting. So basically you're standing around hoping a barista will look up. My usual Starbucks calls out mobile orders as they put it down and will call out the names regularly which is a huge help & just wish this location would do something about this to make it more efficient. read more

It is extremely warm inside and I think they could use a better system to speed thIngs up. The wait is always very long and there is no seating!!! even after most restaurants have opened up. Just order a regular cup of coffee from here and be done with it. Because anything more complicated, just gets well let's say complicated. IDK, maybe I said it too fast, she asks me to repeat, I slow down and repeat, she repeats it back, but wrong. okay one more time, and another time. I offer to mark the cup myself. She tells me I can't it comes out on a sticky, okay one more time. Two days later, I come back, different barista. I think cool beans, it may be easier today. Nope, same deal. However she did get it right one try sooner. Too bad the person making the drink didn't get it right, what gives you can't read the sticker? The next day, two baristas, just as one is about to wait on me he cuts his finger, (drama) and he grabs a band-aide, says ooh I cut myself she'll take your order. He then steps in front of the display case where the goodies are kept and starts to put on his band-aide, (really you're doing that right here) so I place my order in two tries, and ordered two of the cake pops. For some reason I thought anyone else but the guy with the band-aide would reach in to get the pops and put them in a bag. I guess thinking that washing their hands after taking care of the cut would be too much to ask? I was so surprised that I didn't say anything about it. While this was all going on they were singing along with their music track, so it all took a long time to get the order processed. Well at least my drink was correct, as far as the pops I tossed them, just couldn't bring myself to eat them. Yes, the building is lovely, but that's about it at least for me. Perhaps I have bad juju at this location, well that's okay it happens. Future visits, I'm just ordering coffee, I like coffee so that will work. read more

Don't have to worry in Beverly where this Starbucks structure has character and history as rich as its brews, a former Christian Science R.R. Beyond the exteriors, the people are helpful and observant. They pick up quick on regulars and their drink orders. It's alright, I guess. I'd give it 2.5 stars, but that's not an option. The products here are as good as an other Starbucks and the staff is competent. Nothing out of the ordinary. But, like some of the other places in the area, some of the people camp out and refuse to leave. It's ok in the summer, when there is more seating, but come on, I've eavesdropped on some of your conversations, and most of the people don't have much more than seven minute's worth of conversation, much less seventy-seven. I suppose that goes for every coffee shop (and it applies to me, without a doubt), so I really shouldn't complain. Let me complain about this, then: If you're writing a novel, that's cool that you're in the same seat for five hours. Awesome. We need more artists. But if you're surfing the internet . . . dude, leave. Then again, sometimes I go in there to grade papers, and people are probably saying the same thing about me. Boils down to this: They need more space. Similarly, they need a larger parking lot. Not sure how they could pull that off, but sometimes getting out of the lot is an impossibility given the laws of this universe. Not to mention I've been a customer since they opened. The customer service here is excellent, drinks are always made right, BUT like so many places in Beverly, parking is an issue. This is a wonderfully run Starbucks. The people who work here are very much cut from the service industry cloth. As a food industry person myself, I find this very appealing. I dig this place. It's clean and bright. he people who work and frequent the place are nice. There are a number of tables that are positioned perfectly near outlets. There is a nice couch-like seating area with smaller tables. The bathrooms are enormous. In fact, the bathrooms might be bigger than the parking lot... A coupla downers - it is frackin' freezin' in here! I mean, cold. Like, brrrrrrrrr. And, the parking lot is smaller than aforementioned bathrooms. 5 stars for the seating + 5 stars for the number of electrical plugs - 5 for the parking lot the size of the bathroom + 5 for the size of the bathrooms - 5 for the price of Starbucks coffee = 4 stars read more
