These Quik Stop markets pepper Yuba City but I can't say I'm complaining. I love that if I head…read moresouth I can hit the Quick Stop on Bogue Road and if I head north I can stop here for gas. I'll never pay high prices for gas again as cheap gas will never be out of the way for me. The one thing I can do without are the high school girls belting out Call Me Maybe inside the store while I'm waiting in line to buy some chips.

I buy gas at this gas station in particular because of the fact that they've had a restroom available for use. However over the past few years every time I've asked for the restroom key, whether I'm buying gas or something else at the time or not, I've got extreme attitude from whoever is working the counter. Not only have I received attitude when asking for the restroom key, but just in general. I am one of the most polite people you'll meet, I'm confident of that. This gas station used to be a pleasant experience, but over the last few years they have changed. Today I went in to ask for the restroom key, (today is Wednesday, October 2nd, and the time of my visit was exactly 12pm-noon), and the woman who was working the counter, who has been working here for years, (maybe she's the owner?), said to me "are you buying something?" I said "I'm sorry?" Because I thought that's what I heard, but I was shocked at her rude response, being that I have given them so much business over the years in buying my gas from their station for my pest control business, which can amount to around $100 a week some weeks. She responded with again "are you buying anything?" I said "no." She said "you can't use the restroom then." I said "I buy gas from you guys all the time." She ignored me and walked away. I walked out saying "you guys just lost a customer." If they can't provide something as simple as the option to use their PUBLIC restroom to a longtime, valuable customer, then they will no longer be receiving my business. I will be making a complaint with the city/county, or whoever I need to do so with.

I also had a specialty matcha tea and it was very good as well. I sat outside on the adorable patio. It was comfortable and I was able to relax and kill a couple hours watching a movie on my phone while I waited to hear from the hospital. The service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. I would definitely recommend!

I recently visited Brick Coffee House Café with my sister while we were in town visiting family…read more While the cafe itself has a charming and cozy ambiance, and the manager eventually apologized, our visit was completely ruined by a barista named Trinity. My sister's drink was much sweeter than expected. I felt a bit bad even asking to change it, so I went up to the counter and politely asked the girl at the register if we could add an extra shot to balance it out. The cashier was genuinely nice and sweet; she immediately turned to Trinity and asked if she could do that for us. Instead of a standard professional response, Trinity treated me with an immense amount of rudeness and a terrible attitude. Her hostile tone was completely unprovoked. My sister watched the entire interaction play out and was incredibly upset on my behalf because of how disrespectful Trinity was to me, especially since I was being super polite to begin with.My sister felt compelled to speak with Trinity directly about her behavior right then and there. It is highly disappointing to see such a blatant lack of professionalism in a customer service role. While anyone can have an off day, taking it out on a polite customer and ignoring her own coworker's polite request is unacceptable. It is a cute place with potential, but customer service is everything. I am rating them low because of this experience, and I hope management addresses Trinity's attitude moving forward.
