We split both to try them, and honestly, they were way better than expected. The Italian had that classic combo of cold cuts, shredded lettuce, tomato, and just the right amount of oil and vinegar -- no onion, and nothing was soggy or falling apart. Everything was tucked in perfectly and easy to eat. The Vodka Chicken Parmesan sub was the real surprise. The chicken was tender, the breading wasn't soggy, and the vodka sauce had great flavor without overpowering the sandwich. The melted cheese pulled it all together. Definitely not your average gas station sub -- this one had care. The same lady made both sandwiches -- and she did it fast and with precision. Usually these can be hit or miss (either overloaded or falling apart), but she nailed the balance and did it quickly without cutting corners. The bathroom and some areas were a bit messy, but we saw another employee actively cleaning. For just two staff members running the whole place, they were doing a solid job. This QuickChek is a reliable stop for sandwiches, gas, snacks, and essentials. We'll definitely be back -- and next time, probably for another Vodka Parm.

While you're charging, you can use the bathroom facilities or buy a cup of coffee. It's a clean station and there's lots of people filling up with gas so if you need 15 minutes to charge, be secure in knowing you be charging in a busy parking lot.

The biggest issue is checkout. There are plenty of registers, but they're almost never open & everyone is pushed to self-checkout. I'm not a fan of that at all. I don't work here, and I don't want to ring up my own groceries. I want to use a regular cashier and be on my way. That option shouldn't feel nonexistent. It's also frustrating that self-checkout doesn't take cash, even though it says it does. So if you're paying cash, you have to wait for help anyway which is extremely annoying!! The rewards program isn't great either--after spending $200, getting a free chocolate bar was pretty underwhelming. Overall, nice store, but the lack of real checkout service is a big downside.

Lidls does have their own brand label so you'll save on most things that run along those lines. But some national name brand products that I'm used to seeing are priced the same if not a bit more than other stores.    You can find me hanging out in the Frozen Foods Section, in my opinion that's where a customer can find the most value that this place has to offer. And these days that's a big freakin deal people.   I've been here twice so far and both times it's been pretty empty maybe just because this is a fairly new location but I can definitely appreciate a place like this as opposed to some other crazy crowded nearby chains who'll remain nameless. When I walked in somone walked me to the culinary area. I was greeted, signed in and the lady took my temperature. The instructor Steve and his assistants had masks on the whole time and so did we. We were making seafood dishes: clam chowder, risotto, crab stuffed shrimp, slaw, cod and a butter cream cake. Each of us paired up to make each dish and when finished we packed it up so we could bring it home due to Covid. The class was very hands on and Steve was very thorough and quick with each station. We made everything from scratch which was a first for me. When I got home I ate. I had to add a little season salt to some items but it wasn't bad. The chef really didn't push for us to add to much salt. We did a good job as a group. It was definitely a fun class.

I had a black and white shake and my son had a signature soda. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. My complaint is the burger itself was very small and at 8 bucks for your basic burger , very pricey for what you get. The onions rings also very good, but priced at 1 buck per ring. Very pricey again. Shake was very good as well. Taste is a 5. Value is a 2. Lunch for the two of us was 40 bucks. Not a place I'd go out of my way for.
