Lady at the cashier is insanely rude. While I was talking to her my masked slipped under my nose, before I had the chance to fix it she started yelling at me that my mask wasn't on correctly. I apologized and said "Im sorry (while I was fixing my mask) then told her there's no reason to get so angry life is short. She then acted like she was going to die because my mask was under my nose, and I got kicked out the store. read more

I walked in without a mask and they flipped the hell out as if someone with Ebola walked in lmao. They are so in fear that they literally almost had a heart attack. They then proceeded to not charge me for water because they wanted me to stand 15ft away. How ridiculous is this couple that work here? I filed a complaint with the ADA about having underlying health issues preventing me from wearing a mask and being a sheep. They will get their first 75,000 fine for being assholes and in addition for knowing nothing about science and watching CNN all day everyday. This store is filled with negative reviews. I cannot believe it's even still here. Maybe I should open a convenience store right next to them just to destroy their sad business. read more

Although the inventory and selection is this establishment is it up to par, I will admit that the customer service is less than satisfactory. Today, I entered 7-11 after a long, hard day at school to purchase a bag of chips as well as a beverage. However, the greeting I got that day was not all what I expected. As I was taking a long time to select my snacks, I noticed that the manager was eyeing me. I made eye contact with him and I guess he felt I was challenging his dominance. He then charged at me and I backed away in fear and disbelief. He then told me to exit the store, kicking me out just for taking a while to select my treat. I've been here a couple times out of my 25 years of living in San Diego. I'm not a regular but I say I come by maybe 5 times out of the year when I'm either leaving from or heading to the beach. I came last night and received the worst customer service I've ever experienced in La Jolla. The elderly male employee with the accent was so grumpy and rude. I asked him if he could throw a piece of trash away for me and he slammed my trash on the counter and said "No!, you know there's a trash outside" I replied "No sir I didn't know I wasn't paying attention. You don't have to get all upset" and almost as if he was ready for a physical altercation he snapped back at me without changing his demeanor insisting I knew where the trash was. Now honestly at this point I almost lost my cool. If I were to act out cuss him out and throw my trash on the floor while knocking things down on my way out then I would be the bad guy. But that's exactly how I felt like reacting after this employees blew up in my face out of no where because I asked if he could throw away some trash. I'm polite and well mannered. So instead of cussing him out making a scene and knocking him out. Im taking my anger out here. I hope this reaches management. Please contact me because I hope no other customer has to experience what I did. Totally uncalled for and that guy owes me an apology or should be punished. Only reason why this is 2 stars instead of one is because I'm a loyal 7-Eleven customer, but this guy doesn't belong. I will do more research and get this guys name. read more

The lady working at the register went off on me when I asked how to redeem my 7-Eleven rewards. She scoffed and said "you need to figure out how to do that on your own, it's not my job to tell you" in a vey rude tone, then walked away. I'm shocked that an employee thinks that's an acceptable way to speak to a customer who had politely asked how the reward system worked. read more

This is the 7/11 closest to our local high school, it's about 4 or 5 blocks from the school so it's very convenient to grab some coffee before school or get a snack afterwards. The staff isn't very friendly, at all actually. Some of them are tolerable, but other ladies that work there are very unfriendly and impatient. They are very rude to many of the students who shop there, and if there were another convince store closer, people would most likely flock there in a heartbeat. 7-11 on La Jolla Blvd isn't great, just convenient. read more

There is a woman with bushy brown hair and spider lashes that works at this 7-11 and she has terrible customer service. She is extremely rude, and acts like she is being bothered to do the most basic of things. Multiple times that I've been here its the same thing After her nonsense today I will not be returning. Lilly, the rude front desk woman completely robbed us of our money when we tried to refund a charger that doesn't work for our car for another one that would. The first one was 19.99 and one we exchanged it for was 17.99. She REFUSED to give us the money that we were owed and talked back to us when we kindly asked her to give us OUR money. She's extremely disrespectful and had no customer service skills what so ever. When we asked for the money she continued to take other people and ignored us. read more

This 7-11 is convienintly located on La Jolla blvd close to the beach and many houses. It has the main essentials you need. Keep in mind no gas out front. They are 24/7 and there staff is friendly. They don't rip you off like some. All around good place to stop in and get your essentials for your home, or for the beach. read more

Good little 7-Eleven on La Jolla Blvd. Right next to the Shack so if you run out of cash, go here and use the ATM.

Stay clear of the ATM. It shorts transaction $20-40! When I brought it up to the owner he said "yeah we know about that issue, call your bank or something" and shrugged. Terrible. read more

I would definitely rate this please a zero stars for this type of customer service that I've received. I frequent the 7-Eleven once or twice a day every day for the last six years since I've lived here in La Jolla. This place it's exactly like any other 7-Eleven except the staff is terrible! The management and or owner are the absolute worst and I can understand how the staff is so bad because they learn by example. I really think that 7-Eleven corporate should fire or buy back the 7-Eleven from the current owners and management because this place is definitely giving you guys a bad reputation. It is downright uncomfortable sometimes to come in here and purchase things without having to feel the negative energy from two of the older gentleman that either manage or own the establishment. They are rude and swear at their employees in front of customers. Never once have they thanked me for my service nor some smiled and most the time looked away when they gave me my change. I've looked at my bank statements and I spent thousands of dollars here at each month because it's a convenient stop from my home to the beach vice versa. But after this last display of disrespect I think I'll no longer visit this convenience store maybe I'll just go to the gas station down the road or the liquor box right across the road. One afternoon after going to the beach I stop by this 7-Eleven store and purchased some pizzas some Slurpee's and some other things amounting to almost $20. Me and my kids grab the items and get into our vehicle. I figure it would be a best decision to sit for a minute and let them eat their food before we hit the road. 5-10 minutes later this older gentleman with I think, but I could be wrong sounded like a Middle Eastern accent and he was going bald and he was grouchy knocked on my window and said "hey you need to move your car you've been here a long time. Please move your car to the street this is the busy season and you've been here a long time". I didn't want to get into argument with him but he was totally wrong we had been there five or 10 minutes and I wanted my kids to get a chance to eat most of their food before we hit the street. You think I would be able to get 10 minutes after spending almost $20 at this convenience store but I guess it's too much to ask. I will never frequent this establishment again and if the owners or management read this review please fire yourself so the community can have a friendly place to go when they need to treat their kids to Slurpee's and snacks. 7-Eleven was always a fun place for me when my parents took me as a kid and I wanted to share the same experience with my kids unfortunately the 7-Eleven has the worst staff that I've ever experienced, so thank you but no thank you.
