Hey, I tried by lying my way out of saying, "I have no idea how to change it.". I had no idea Cox existed. Oreileys said, "Go to Keith at Cox." I had my light with me that I had previously bought at O'reiley's. I drove to Cox, who had 2 cars in the service area. They practically dropped what they were doing to service my car. I don't think I batted my eye lashes and looked like the poor helpless female with one headlight out, who didn't know how to change it. I can change them but couldn't get it turned out of the socket. As was the case at O'reiley's. Keith at Cox changed the bulb in 5 minutes time even with 2 cars in the service area.. And they were very nice. Spacious area to sit, coffee, t.v., nice service. I was impressed, and will take my car here when it needs serviced. I'm certain it'd cost over $40 to take it to the dealership, which isn't even in my area any more.It only cost me $15 for Cox to change it. Thanks to Cox, I can now drive legally at night.

Not only are they WAY cheaper for mechanical work than anyone else in the area (and I always compare) but they are very honest and have never once taken advantage of the fact that 1) I'm a girl and 2) don't know shit about cars. When explaining a problem with the engine once, they noticed my blank stare and actually invited me into the garage, popped the hood and showed me exactly what they were talking about. No mechanic had ever done that for me before and I found it very helpful. Call and make an appointment! They are definitely worth a trip to Raytown to get your car fixed up and I guarantee you will save money. Ask for Jeff--he is fab!

The dude behind the counter was super chill--he let us roam around and even noticed me eyeing the chocolate-covered espresso bean gumball machine, proceeding to point out the stash of "secret quarters" so I could grab some! I ordered a chilled chai latte for the road, which came out super fast in a really neat, crafty cup. The drink was just as sweet and cozy as the shop itself. I love local mom-and-pop places like this, and I'd take a double shot at this spot any day!

The wait turned out to be worth it. I arrived just after they opened and stepped into a space that's eclectic, funky and a little random in the best way, complete with bookcases of games that gives the place its own personality. My cortado was the epitome of perfection, rich and balanced, and because it took a moment to prepare, I was handed a free chocolate chip cookie. That little surprise absolutely blew my ketosis but I didn't regret it for a second. I stayed for two hours, settling in and enjoying the atmosphere with their wifi before heading out to explore Independence. Coffee Elsewhere is one of those neat little spots that feels genuinely local, the kind of place that does coffee right and doesn't try to be anything other than itself. It was a great stop and exactly the kind of independent shop I look for when I'm on the road. [Review 822 of 2026 - 540 in Missouri - 26003 overall]
