This location houses a Subway Sandwich Shop. It has a convenience store with many of your road trip needs. It has a large selection of souvenir ballcaps. Sadly it didn't have a US Navy Veteran hat, or a USS Bagley FF1069 hat. They did have a hat for Marines. I had a nice stop at this Shell Station. I'll be back when I need fuel, a sandwich, or Road Trip essentials I may need.

It may sound costly, but you will never want any other carne asada in the entire WORLD. After cooking this meat on the grill many, many times, I've realized that I have never found any other carne asada that comes close to this meat in quality, tenderness, or flavor anywhere. It is amazing and well worth the price you pay for it. Try $3/lb carne and $6/lb carne and you'll definitely taste the difference. That is, unless you've been drinking all afternoon before you ate... in which case, everything magically tastes great and you'd probably be too inebriated to make any sort of judgment at all. Kennedy's Market and their alleged "best carne asada in Imperial Valley" will never compare to El Sol's carne asada. Ever. It's one of very few things I miss about the Valley.
