When they came out Doc had bought lup cheong bun, hot dog musubi, and a couple garlic chicken musubis. I stayed in the car as there was a homeless man camped out by the front door and since past incidents twice before, I choose to avoid the situation all together. I tasted and enjoyed a chicken musubi. Holy macaroni! my world was rocked! It felt toasty warm and tasted moist with scrumptious perfectly cooked rice. Biggest musubi fit my entire palm and then some. The chicken was generous and tender. I didn't taste the garlic but Doc said even after she ate hers she could taste it. Went here for spam musubi and they do not disappoint. We got the DELUXE and TERIYAKI SPAM MUSUBI from the warmers and they hit the spot. the deluxe has egg too so that was my particular favorite. Make sure you try their MANAPUA (we got the CHAR SIU). The bread right off the warmer was amazing and melts in your mouth. Of course my husband was super excited about their chip section from Japan. Ok so the 7-11 in Hawaii are not nearly what 7-11 in Japan is! However, it's getting better! I love the convenience of it all. They are finally offering more options in the food and snack department. I see an array of Japanese chips with furikake! Delicious! The cookies too! So many options to choose from however my favorite is the fish musubi . This pudding with the coffee jello is tasty and the pudding has a consistency of flan. If you love coffee I think you'll like this. So we went to grab something to eat, my son was waiting for a staff to bring icee cup lid, I saw 6-7medium size cups that are stacked to each other on the floor so I grabbed it and threw it away. On our way back to the field, my son told me that while he was filling up his icee cup, the staff picked up the cup in the thrash and placed it back in the cup holder . Unless it's been awhile since I last stop at a 711, Since when did they have Longanisa spam musubi? There is a 20 oz drink & spam musubi special for $1.99. I also noticed the Ubae products, Haulolo, provolone cheese & Genoa salame/Jimmy Dean mini pancake sausage combo snack size package & so much more. What really caught my eyes were the udon cup o noodles @ only .88, my first time seeing this product so I grabbed the last 3 on the shelf. I love cup o noodles, which is one of my weakness. I am curious to see how the udon cup o noodle taste. I also noticed the green tea wafer ice cream sandwich, which I must have!, also available in 2 other flavors. Overall I am very impressed with this 711. I will definitely be back when I am in the area or heading around the island. My opinion, this is the best 711 convenient store. My grand nephew likes getting his Freyo for his after school snack, plus a spam musubi or lup Chong manapua, they are usually busy during the time we go but the cashiers are pretty quick to bring the long line down, unfortunately the machines for smoothies or slush is not in service, one or the other, they are popular with the kids so I'm sure maintenance is hard to keep on a high demand products. read more

I went in to order two platters for a graduation party and Linda helped me again - but in doing so, she very kindly & patiently used this opportunity to train a new clerk. Let me say that the ladies working at this 7-11 have always been really nice and I attribute this to a great manager like Linda. They have tons of food options, and the store is clean and well stocked. 7-Eleven is my go-to place when I need a spam musubi for a quick snack- theirs are big, reasonably priced, and the rice is cooked just right. I recently tried their caramel macchiato blended drink (medium for $2.99), which you order from the touch screen vending machine. Half the fun was watching the milk, coffee, and ice get dispensed into the cup, then blended. And it was delicious! I've been here many times over the years, considering it's my neighborhood 7-11. Yet I'm never completely satisfied as I have been at other 7-11's around the island, or country for that matter. Perhaps it's the dark front in the early mornings and evenings, or it's the requisite 'Welcome to 7-11' I get from the cashiers, even though they don't look up and really aren't sincere. OK, that's about it for my complaints. The positives are many, including the convenience of an attached gas station in front. That's great, but it's the kids' last minute breakfast when they don't want my world-famous chocolate chip pancakes - they get spam musubi and beef toquitos. Yep, breakfast of champions - hot, cheap and easy. Occasionally when I'm waiting for my daughter to finish up dancing at nearby Pas De Deux, I walk over to get a Slurpie - it's hot outside, so a dad's gotta do what a dad's gotta do. As you would expect of any 7-11, they have a wide selection of cold beverages, snack foods, hot foods, medicines, smokes and an ATM machine. What this particular 7-11 does not have is a 'f'Real' machine. Shameful, as that's the latest draw to 7-11's and convenience stores around the islands. My daughter and I found a fReal machine at the Waipahu 7-11, but that's a different location. It's always clean, well-stocked, and the cashiers are usually on top of their game. Let's start this by saying that I love 7 eleven. It is probably one of my top 5 favorite stores/franchises. So this rating is trying to be specific to this location. Overall, this is just another great 7 eleven store. GREAT selection of prepared foods, the store always looks clean, and the service is generally quick. Only drawback to this place is the parking lot. I never thought I would come here to just buy a phone charger cord but I did. Very convenient, the sales associates there were so nice and showed me their selection. To be honest, there wasn't much but I mean we're at a gas station so I wasn't expecting a lot. Anyways, I got what I needed. One associate in particular, she was an older woman that helped me, was so considerate and informative. She goes, "I know it's kind of pricey, it's $20. Are you sure you want this?" I didn't mind the price so I said I didn't mind. Then she goes, "If it doesn't work or you don't want it anymore, you can return it within a week just as long as it's in sellable condition. This is one of the best 7-11's to go to. This location is always clean and fully stocked and the employees always give good service. As for the gas station connected to it. . . . If gas pumps could smoke methamphetamine I would be 100% sure that gas pump #6 was a crack head, since they can't I am only 95% sure that gas pump number #6 is a crackhead. The numbers don't appear until after you press the number that come next, the screens are faded and hard to read and the operation altogether is slow and glitchy. I'm actually a little surprised that Hele didn't upgrade all the machines when they took over. Just be ready to argue with the pumps. read more

So along this stretch of road (Ka Uka Blvd) There's several gas stations. I usually fill my gas Sam's otherwise I stop at Tesoro. Well, 7-Eleven is the ONLY place I stop for food/beverage (not the gas) All right, sometimes I get gas here but not often. And the reason for the 4 stars is cause they don't have water/squeegies for the windshields/windows...And every time I've tried to put air "it's out of order". I love stopping here to get their HOT Spam Musubi and pork hash. My brother in law's fault for taking me here when I first moved back. So although I can MAKE spam musubi, it's more fun to get it already teriyaki'd and hot and wrapped up nice to toss in my purse on the way to work. Staff here is always so friendly too. They will greet you with a hello no matter how busy it gets in the store and they are very good at being vocal "i can take you over here" if the line gets long. Today I actually got french vanilla cappuccino and it was fabulous! If you like sweeter coffees anyways. I could have probably gotten a larger cup too! I really like 7-eleven and this location in particular. If I forget to make lunch or eat breakfast I come to this location. Out of Mililani and then right back on to the freeway no problem. Though in the morning between 6am-8am this place is raging! With all the construction workers and downtown workers grabbing their morning coffee, cigs., food, etc. Every time I walk in I always here someone greeting me. As busy as they can be, they still acknowledge everyone that comes in. Love it. My usual order is the Chicken Sandwich, Water/Vitamin Water/Arizona Iced Tea, and Maui Chips. I could really spend hours in this store. They also sell Hello Kitty items. Awesome. Right when you walk in there it is on the shelf. I browse and resist the temptation. lol. I like this location because it is new, large, clean, and the staff is friendly. It sucks that Mililani doesn't have a 7-11 (which they REALLY need), so I either come to this location or to Wahiawa to grab a slurpee and get my fix! Sending me texts on my phone for months and months for deals. Today again after having to deal with the cashiers over and over and over on how to actually use this fricken discount was it for me. Every time I show them my phone. They call over "manung" "how you do this?" EVERY TIME. Ive even had to deal with the same person one day then the NEXT day for the same deal on my phone. The last straw was when they denied me the discount on my phone. They called the new manager who needs to get her act straight or get replaced with someone like the old manager who knows what they are doing. She said they only do this for the mainland. I look at her dead in the face, and asked her if she was sure. She replied yes. Then I asked her WHY do you have a sign in your store saying there is a discount for this text offer? She looked at me like I was stupid. I walked over to the shelf picked up the sign, showed it to her, made her read it. She giggles and says something to the other filipino ladies in filipino. I don't think its funny being given a hard time because of their lack of training. She asked if I wanted the discount now. Too late this was probably the 15th or so time Ive had to deal with this bucket of fails. I worked next door and spent a few grand her over the years buying drinks, food, snacks for my employees. On hot days soda or slurpee was on the menu for my guys working hard. I refuse to go her for anything else ever again. Usually one of the first stop's of the day, the people there are always friendly and for the most part i'm in and out with everything I need to start my day in a few minutes. Sometimes it does get a little backed up, but I usually don't mind because I try to plan to be at work early. Spam Katsu used to be my cheap favorite, but it's been removed from it's position by the Karage Chicken or if i'm hungry the fried chicken bento. This location is pretty popular with a line of a couple people being typical. That being said, the wait is usually short and the employees are always friendly. Keep in mind that the slurpee flavors change frequently and I have no idea if there's a schedule I'm missing or not, but it can catch you off guard. Used to be my favorite store until I went in there today and the cashier basically called me a liar. I had one of those stamp cards to get a free sandwich after buying 7 that I got 2 weeks ago. Apparently it was expired from the time I got it but since I first got it I had 4 stamps on it and not one cashier bothered to tell me it was expired til today. So as I'm telling the cashier this, she leaves to go to the back as the line continues to grow to the back of the store. She comes back to tell me that they stopped handing out the cards June 30(yesterday) and that the only cards they have in the back were from 2017. Still she insists I got it last year and begins to argue with me.. worst customer service!!! So she takes my old card and rips it and puts one stamp on a new card. This is my favorite 7-eleven to go to. They're slurpee machines are working almost every time I go. It's always clean. And the staff is always friendly. I go here whenever my son and I are craving slurpees on a hot day or when we're about to go beach and want to get convenient musubis and sandwiches.
