There were two cashiers/lanes open. That was it. There were at least 15 people in each line. They don't have self checkout, which is annoying because I much prefer that (especially since I'm only ever buying like 2 loaves of bread and that's it). Most people in line had huge carts full of groceries. At least they don't bag groceries so that cuts down on some of the time it takes to get customers through the checkout, but only 2 lanes open on a Saturday afternoon is bonkers. Why do they have like 8 checkout lanes if they aren't going to staff them when the store is packed? Also, the stock today and the last time I was there wasn't great. I didn't see any employees in the aisles stocking today so I don't know if they only had 2 people working entirely or if they just ran out of stuff or what. It's really luck of the draw when you come here.

It's the biggest Aldi I have seen anyway. The parking is also plentiful as it is at the end of a big strip mall and located next to a quiet Kohl's. Besides coffee, I've personally started paying more attention to Aldi's wine offerings as I recently saw from a reliable source (YouTube lol) that besides other good values, they have exceptionally good wine selections and values.
