I use prescription eyedrops for a chronic eye condition. My insurance would not let me order a refill until 11/13. Things got busy; I ordered it on 11/15. My last refill ran out on 11/16. They filled the order on 11/16 but did not send their customary notification until 11/18, and then the message header did not identify either the drug or the sender; in my phone's long list of incoming texts, it looked just like spam. So I didn't read it until 11/19, after I checked the order status on CVS's web site as preparation for calling them to ask why the shell they hadn't done anything yet. The previous time I ordered it as soon as the insurance would let me, which again was only a day or two before I ran out. CVS's computer informed me that it was very sorry, they were temporarily out of stock, but they'd get it in Real Soon Now. The prescription was not new then. They knew I was likely to reorder it, and they knew when almost to the day; couldn't they make sure they'd have it in stock when I needed it, instead of doing nothing, then scrambling to get it not-much- too-late? No... that's too much to ask. Every time I refill this prescription I seem to end up with no drug for a few days, for one reason or another. I'm profoundly unimpressed.

If you have 4-6 cars ahead of you, you can guarantee a 40-50 minute wait time sitting in line until you get served. Fast food drive thru's take less time to give you your food! So it begs the question: WTF is taking so long to get your prescription! My wife and I are over this and are thinking we wouldn't mind paying a little more for prescriptions if they take this long. The wait times inside the store are even more atrocious!

I've stopped by late at night, exhausted and dealing with symptoms from a chronic illness, just to buy ice (paying for ice is really something, isn't it?) because I'm anemic. I've even been barked at to "hurry up" because they needed to randomly lock down the store. (Don't say you're open 24/7 then) If you've ever dealt with anemia and PICA, you know the craving for ice is visceral, it's not just a habit, it's physically consuming. It takes me less than five minutes to get in and out, and that's being generous. But half the time they just lock their doors at random, so I end up wasting gas driving there only to find I can't get air for my tires, cant pay for gas with cash, and can't pay for ice (paying for ice is such a silly thing to say), because they're simply not open despite claiming to be. I won't blame this one business alone for the capitalistic dehumanizing greed that turns basic human needs like water into something you have to pay for, but it's still disgusting how normalized that behavior has become. Update your hours.

The people are friendly. It's your typical convenience store, decent sized, lots of stuff I like the hot food section, the coffee is good, and they have a good selection of drinks on the soda fountain. The gas prices are very reasonable. If you get the "earnify" app, you get five cents a gallon off every time you get gas, plus, you can earn points for more gas, discounts or other stuff in the store. I paid nine bucks for a basic car wash. I drive into the car wash, and I realize that it's a touch -free car wash. I had a feeling it was going to be a problem, because my car was pretty dirty. I go through the car wash, and when I come out, there's still a lot of white spots all over my car from before. I go in and speak to the manager, I wish I could have gotten her name, but she offered me a refund or a rewash. I decided to try the rewash, she upgraded me to the top end wash, and I go back thru the car wash. I come out of the car wash, and the car wasn't much better than the first time through. I go back and speak to the manager again, she apologizes, and gives me a refund for my original wash. She took care of the problem without any hesitation. I wouldn't use this car wash again, because I don't have a lot of luck with touch-free car washes. Everything else, this store is great. Thank you!
