I think it's because the gas bays are clean and well lit. Not known for being the cheapest gas in town, but I'll pay a few shekels more per gallon if I don't have to dodge the used bubblegum piles and the pumps actually have the lock mechanisms working so that I don't have to sit there and hold the pump handle to keep the gas coming. Major downgrade here is the carwash, not because of the actual wash, but the circuitous path you to take to get into it. There's actually a single lane path that snakes around the building and back around to get you into the wash. There's a couple harrowing turns involved that make me glad I don't roll in a larger SUV. Otherwise, the wash price is cheaper than Autobell and it does have a dryer to keep the water spots down. Double bonus: the gas is cheaper if you buy a car wash with it. A win-win, now let's hope a don't get a scratch trying to get around and into that wash!

While I rarely ever go inside a gas station anymore, I have been in the small convenience store/cashier building before. It's a little cramped but the woman who range me up there was nice. The property itself could use help, like the last reviewer said, the boarded up building needs to go but I see that it would cost more to take it down than its worth, so there it stays. As mentioned earlier I only go here when I HAVE to, not because I want to.
