When the coffee was put in the pick up area it didn't have a sleeve on it. I saw some sleeve right at the edge of the counter (about a foot in reach), the barista was right next to them so I asked her for a sleeve. She pointed about 20' feet away and said I can get one over there myself. So I walked to the counter near the exit, walked back to the pick up area, and sleeved my own steaming hot drink. As someone that works in customer service and was also a certified barista at Starbucks, that was a mind blowing experience. I will absolutely never return to this location. Since Yelp likes us to mention ambiance, the layout was ok, music was loud.

Ambiance wise, this is…read moresuch a gem of a spot, especially for the area, where it's easy to find a coffee drive thru but not as easy to find a cute coffee shop (that isn't a chain). There was lots of room to hang out & eat or just hide in a nook & read a book. Lots of things to browse from all sorts of vendors too. Service wise, they couldn't be more accommodating. I stopped in strictly for a gift card for someone that I know that likes their coffee (& may be a total cat lady) but they were having system issues of some sort that resulted in me being "charged" for a gift card but not actually getting one. The staff present wasn't able to do anything so I left my info & was told I'd be contacted by the owner. There are some places where I'd not feel comfortable leaving without a refund & with only the (possibly empty) promise of one, but I didn't have any doubts. The owner reached out, confirmed the issue was corrected & mentioned the existence of their egiftcards & how straightforward they are to purchase. So yeah, can't really speak to the coffee or food offerings yet, but can vouch for the fact that you'll be treated well in a cute spot.

Then there's the Dubai Chocolate Sundae I got today. It was actually the worst dessert I've had in recent memory. I complained about it, too. I told the staff that it didn't resemble the pictures in their store. It didn't appear to have any pistachio cream in it. (If it was in there, there was so little of it that you could not taste it.) And the concoction I got was basically just chocolate ice cream with everything all mixed together as a single shade of brown. I paid $12.95 for this terrible thing. I showed the staff the problem. They looked in my cup. They refused to do anything about it. I asked for more pistachio/kanafi crunch stuff and they replied that their manager wouldn't like that. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with this, so much so that I wrote corporate. KFT has no business selling this for $12.95. If you pay a premium price for something (drinks are normally $5 to $7 here), you expect it to be decent. I feel like I was severely cheated.

A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. All around a flavorful and satisfyingly smooth latte that actually tastes LIKE COFFEE!! Service was excellent and fast! The young woman working today was so friendly and helpful and seemed prepared to help with advice or knowledge if needed. The in-store space is quaint and comfortable, and on every wall is a selection of goods, repurposed coffee bean bags, snacks, beans, merch, etc.

I'm used to their bright, open, welcoming setups with comfortable seating and great lighting. This location is much longer than it is wide, so the seating is only along one wall. I understand the space constraints, but it definitely caught me off guard compared to other locations. I also noticed the selection was smaller. What I'm learning from visiting different locations is that inventory can vary; some items are consistent, but some are unique to certain stores. For example, this location had a cookie baked inside a croissant, which I haven't seen elsewhere. Unfortunately, they didn't have my usual favorites, so I tried the blueberry cream cheese bread. It didn't taste fresh to me. I'm used to soft, fluffy dough with a good amount of filling, but this one seemed to have less filling and the texture wasn't as fresh as I've experienced at other locations. The cashier was nice, which I appreciated. However, overall this felt like the smallest and least stocked location I've visited. I wasn't excited about the selection, and because the pastry didn't taste fresh, I likely won't return to this particular location.

They did have a much more extensive coffee menu. I was greeted when I got in but the staff was no where near as pleasant to me upon checking out as compared to the guest before me I had only asked a simple question about one of their signs which was a promo not available in the afternoon. I did order two pastries of what they had remaining. They were just okay. The guava danish was definitely my favorite of the two the other pastry I had was I believe the chocolate cloud donut. I wouldn't really call it a donut the outside was very like wet ... and sticky. The cream was okay but honestly didn't impress me much. I don't think it's a bad spot and I did see TikTok's of their really good drinks so I'll have to go back but I honestly might skip the pastries as it was nothing that "wowed" me.
