If you're not wanting to get out of the car, then a drive thru drink is what you need. On this visit, I got a large iced chai with a shot of vanilla and oat milk. As usual, they delivered. It was quite refreshing, as well as thirst quenching. They are not fancy but they are efficient and clean. They are quick to take your drink order and the large is quite sizable. The flavor and drink combinations are plentiful so be sure to scan the QR code or peruse the menu ahead. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality as well as quantity. A bunch of 7 Brew branches have been cropping up in the Capital Region recently. According to staff, this location in Colonie was the region's first. It opened a couple of years ago. I was interested in trying out this chain but the newest locations seem to be crazy busy. So I went to the Colonie location because it seemed just slightly calmer. I realize one of the key features to this business model is its drive through service. However, since I did not understand the menu I got out of my car and walked up to the door where I was greeted by staff. I found them incredibly attentive. Everything in the menu-- whether coffees or fruity drinks-- seemed very sweet and syrupy. The staff assured me that they were. So what could a diabetic like me possibly order? We arrived at a Frozen Coffee Chiller. It was plain. No sugar. Just coffee slush with half-and-half. It was great. The staff was wonderful. They even stepped out a few times to check on me. Did I have any allergies? Any special needs? It was funny to think that I wanted the plainest frozen coffee drink but my order took a bit more to process since 7 Brew specializes in naughty beverages that taste more like desserts. The young staff was very dedicated to getting my order right and that says a lot. I think some other Yelpers offered great advice to new customers planning on using the drive through. Consider acquainting yourself with the menu ahead of time. It's really a crazy large beverage menu. In my case, it worked to walk up and ask for help. Considering how busy the staff is, it's not the most efficient way to place an order. Amazing experience at 7 Brew first going to a 7 brew so the menu was a bit overwhelming but, the staff member is super helpful and explained really well. I ordered an ocean with two cream and it was absolutely amazing! A blue raspberry, lime, and coconut energy drink. For how busy this location was our drinks were made very fast and they were delicious. I would definitely come back in the future. read more

So let's just say make sure you study the menu before coming. I was not prepared and there are team members who request your order at the drive through with no menu. So luckily I knew something about a banana bread latte so I just picked that. It was really good but super sweet and I was able to get it with skim milk. So there are def options available. 7 Brew in Colonie has consistently well made, delicious drinks. My husband and I both get an iced brunette. I get a small with an extra shot and he gets a medium triple seven. Both are well balanced and tasty! The staff is always pleasant, friendly and speedy at making our drinks. Convenient drive through pickup. The only difficult part is taking a left out of the parking lot. We come here anytime we are craving an iced coffee even though it's 20/25 minutes from our house. Way better than Starbucks and Dunkin! read more

Great idea and the service is given with a smile. Lots of choices and a ton of sugar free options. Drink prices are high, however, which makes this more of a once in a while place rather than my go to. Only drive up service and you almost have to know the menu and what you want before you get there because it does go quickly. read more

I was shopping at the Aldi next door and wanted a coffee so I walked over. This is set up as a drive through coffee shop but you can actually walk up and order at the side. A little awkward, but it is possible. Go to the big door right up by the front - not the drive through window. There are even menus on the wall here to help you order. No inside seating. We came here during their soft opening, and they did an AMAZING job with that. I'll need to update this review again when we come back. My favorite by far was the brunette. A drive through coffee & energy drink place that gets you caffee QUICK. They've got plenty of customizations to make sure you get the drink YOU want. A ton of syrups options (see picture), milk alternatives, espresso shots, sugar and ice levels, etc. They only contingency is that their syrups are torani syrups and a good amount of them contain dairy, so be careful if you're lactose intolerant. Just because you sub for alternative milk, doesn't mean your syrup is. Either way -- will be back, especially for a post Aldi shopping trip reward. read more

I knew it opened but forgot about it until my friend and I were looking for a coffee place to go to but as we arrived saw it was only a drive thru so she went home and I continued thru the line. I quickly signed up for points online first and than the outside barista was very helpful. I knew I wanted pumpkin flavored something and with her help decided on a pumpkin blondie (vanilla & caramel) but low sugar and iced with cold brew on top for an additional 75 cents. Seems like there are plenty of drinks for none coffee lovers too or there will be smoothies and shakes also teas. Not sure if I like the only option is to drive thru though, mostly if im in that area and wanna chill with friends. It reminds me of some other establishments (chain restaurants) that opened and only had a drive thru almost local that didnt fair well with just a drive thru but when they added the locally they added indoors. A fun stop on a drive for a drink! My friend and I wanted to see how comparable it was to the west coast Dutch Bros so we went through the drive through for a fun drink. The person taking our order wasn't the most warm or friendly unfortunately but our drinks came out fine! 7Brew does have a variety of syrups and fun signature drinks and I ended up going with a cold brew and cold foam with salted caramel and banana. Overall a solid place for on the road if you are looking for a break. read more

Tried this place this morning. I'd usually try and support more local shops, but... I was being lazy and didn't feel like getting out of my car. Everyone here is super friendly and the service is great! The thing is-I wish the prices were listed on the menu. Maybe I was still waking up and didn't notice them. I didn't see any prices online. That's really my only issue. It was $12 for two medium drinks, which is similar to other local spots, but Id like to be able to do the math before. I got the German chocolate mocha, it's really sweet for my taste but that's easily modifiable and next time I'll try more chocolate. I still liked it! And I got my husband the pumpkin blondie latte based on the baristas suggestion. That one is delicious! And the other barista mentioned they give away free stuff on the 7th of every month. I will never go to 7brew AGAIN. I was there on Thursday April 23, 2026 at 6:40pm. I ordered a large Fizz for $4.49. I tapped my card. The girl walked off but then came back and said there's something wrong with your card can you tap again. I did. But something felt off so I checked my acct while still siting in line waiting on my drink and sure enough I was charges an additional $2.25. I made the girl aware that gave me my drink. She went in her tablet and refunded it (so I thought) she said if it wasn't on there by that same night to come back the next day. I could be from out of town and can't come back the next day. I checked my acct again and it showed pending. That was Friday. Then later on the $2.25 posted. I tried called 7brew but it was after hours. I also left an email explaining what had happened. So today I called again and had to leave a message. Some rude female returned my call and stated that the refund has been issued and they would not be offering me anything due their fuckup for my inconvenience and frustration. It's the principle of things. She would not give me her nam, told me I was being rude even though I was patient, didn't curse or call her out of her name not one time, would not give me anyone above her, AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE! I'm plastering this review everywhere and will speak to someone above her. read more

I start every day that I'm in the area with breakfast and 7 Brew . Great way to start my day . Cinnamon Roll with caramel drizzle for breakfast or a Blondie with caramel drizzle later in the day . This was so commercialized I took a sip from my coffee and I almost spit it out because it was so sickly sweet. I got the regular amount of sweetness and it seriously made my stomach hurt after the first sip. I think if you're into the whole super sweet coffee thing this is the place but it was honestly gross to me. Not very expensive though. i waited almost an hour for such mid dogwater coffee. not worth the wait, so to starbucks or dunkin
