I was grateful she took the lead on a half shot instead of full shot as the full shot would likely have been too strong for my preference being new to that flavor in my coffee. I got my husband a caramel macchiato which he also enjoyed. The interior is simple and on theme. There is a display of shirts, mugs, local honey, etc for purchase. I had to drive around the parking lot and circle back to find the correct location. When turning into the main lot, it's on your far left. If going through the drive thru then you'd go straight back and turn left behind the building.

Unpretentious, comfortable and pleasantly eclectic. Their slogan is "analog feeling in a digital world" and it's perfectly apropos. Stacks of old school vinyl greet you as you come in and the sound of music spinning and espresso steaming. The staff is warm and welcoming. I showed up ready for lunch and the smash burger did not disappoint. Perfectly crisp on the edge of the patty, smashed onion, and burger sauce ... classic, delicious and un-improveable. Paired with a sweet tea and bag of chips, no fail. The snickerdoodle laté beats anything from chain coffees that shall not be mentioned, with a stick, while they sleep. The vibe is laid back, the menu is fun and varied ... I had a taste of the chicken salad, SOLID! All in all, Coffee Records is not to be missed. Support local business... it's always good for the spot and almost always better than any chain TGI McDumDum's. Keep up the great work Coffee Records!

We've been to Kollective multiple times before and specifically came back because we loved our…read moredrinks the last time. We drove all the way from Little Rock to Hot Springs to celebrate my birthday, and I wanted to start my day by coming here for coffee. I understand it's busy. The line was long, but we stood in it like everyone else, waited our turn, and were about to spend $51 on coffee and breakfast for our family. Unfortunately, the gentleman taking orders (mustache and piercing in between the eyes) acted as though we were the greatest inconvenience in the world. As we were deciding what everyone wanted and placing our order, he was visibly irritated, sighing and looking like he was holding back an eye roll whenever we spoke to him. I initially wondered if I was reading too much into his demeanor, but as soon as we walked away, both my husband and my 12-year-old independently commented on his attitude and how uncomfortable the interaction was. When even a 12-year-old notices how annoyed an employee seems to be by customers simply ordering, there's a problem. I don't expect someone working a busy counter to be bubbly or put on a performance for me. But basic friendliness--or at minimum, not making customers feel like a burden for ordering--is a pretty reasonable expectation. If someone dislikes interacting with customers that much, having him be the person taking orders seems like an odd choice. Even worse, the coffee I had specifically been looking forward to wasn't nearly as good as it was the last time we visited. This time it tasted noticeably less rich and almost watered down. My husband did enjoy his matcha, but between the quality of my drink, spending $51 on our order, and being made to feel like an inconvenience simply for placing it, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing--especially as the start of my birthday. We came in genuinely excited to return because we'd had such a good experience here before. Unfortunately, we left feeling like we probably won't be back. -I got a raspberry-rose latte (meh) -Husband got an iced matcha latte (Loved it) -Daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich (she said it was fine, not the best) -Banana bread slice and pumpkin bread slice. Those were pretty good

Most of their offerings are lattes, cappuccinos, frappes. But they do have pour overs in which they use Mountain Bird coffee out of Holiday Island, AR. I ordered an Ethiopian pour over. Not an amazing cup of coffee, but it works and is better than straight up drip. Customer service is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They seem understaffed, but the employees are working hard and are doing it with a smile. The only reason for the 4-star and not a 5-star is because I think the place is just too eclectic for me, extremely mismatched. I don't feel relaxed. Too busy, a little uneasy, not cozy to me. But I know others would disagree and love this place. Recommended of you want a yummy cup of Joe

My family was traveling through the area and whenever we travel we like to find local coffee shops, diners, etc. This trip was no different and we really enjoyed this little gem we found. We liked it so much we actually went back a second time the following day. Whenever we visit a coffee shop for the first time we always start with a basic coffee (usually espresso) to truly taste the coffee and gauge the quality. Red Light Roastery passed the test! Next we ordered a cold brew (also a good test of the quality of the coffee and diversity of the shop) and this was one of the better cold brews I have gotten at a small coffee shop. Alot of coffee shops struggle with cold brew but Red Light did a great job. Other drinks and foods are available but their main focus is on the more basic coffee drinks (real coffee drinks - not Starbucks coffee drinks).
