On my birthday, I visited the Midland location with my daughter, who has a known peanut allergy. We clearly marked "PEANUT ALLERGY" on the order and verbally confirmed it with the employee. When the drink was handed to us, we were told it was allergen-free. Within 20 minutes of drinking it, my daughter experienced a severe allergic reaction. We had to administer an EpiPen and seek medical care. Afterward, I tasted the smoothie myself and it was clearly made with peanut. When we contacted the store, we were told they were aware of the incident and that a report had been filed, but there was little acknowledgment of the seriousness of what occurred. This was not a preference or dietary request--it was a clearly communicated, life-threatening allergy. This was not a minor mistake--this was a life-threatening situation that could have ended very differently. I am incredibly disappointed. What should have been a simple visit turned into a medical emergency. I hope this serves as a serious reminder of the responsibility that comes with preparing food for customers with allergies.

First off, the level of customer service to include a cup holder and wrap the cups in plastic wrap to ensure nothing falls over and spills is awesome. I've ordered other places before and they don't even think about that. Good job Pure Green team! The smoothies themselves were delicious. Super healthy, great ingredients, and I love that they use coconut water as a base since Midland's water is definitely not the best to say the least. Best part? Not too sweet.
