Yes, besides regular convenience store items like drinks and ready to eat foods, you can also do money transfers, load your Octopus Card (for store purchases, transit pass, etc.), buy alcohol, or even build your own instant noodles meal by adding optional toppings. My favorite thing to do was to run in and grab some shrimp dim sum and have them microwave it and snack on the go. Of course they don't really have big gulps the size that they are in the US but what they have is adequate. Another thing that they shine on is there alcohol selection. I was extremely pleased to find pre-mixed Jack and cokes over 8,000 miles away from its home in lynchfield. And even better yet, they're on sale! It's difficult to find these pre-mixed Jack and cokes in Hawaii but it was a welcome surprise to find them in Hong Kong. I love them. Anyway, if you need a snack on the go, definitely check out a 7-Eleven store. They are everywhere!

Interestingly, in the US, these stores tend to be thought of as sleezy and dirty places that you only go to for slurpees. I think it's a little different here in Hong Kong as you will see the area is much nicer and tidier giving you a sense of ... mmm, well, order. They have everything you need from soda drinks, juices, and candies to magazines and toiletries. If you're at the Peak Galleria, they are on the bottom floor. You really can't miss them as the store greets you as you walk in. Why was I here you might ask, well 7-11 happens to be a distributer of SIM cards so for our international unlocked phones we were able to purchase a prepaid SIM card here for a nominal price and continue to refill it as needed. Quick and easy with instructions in both Chinese and English. It's not just here at this 7-11 but you can pick these up anywhere! Convenient location, clean and ordered. Could improve on customer service, but she got the job done. 3 stars!

Truly a Convenience store!…read more I think we take 7-Eleven Stores for granted in the USA. In other countries such as Thailand and Hong Kong, they're more than what we think! Even in Hawaii, 7-Eleven serves up musubi - a local favorite. This particular 7-Eleven had a Hello Kitty hand sanitizer. I HAD TO get it because it was the last one on the shelf...sorry, My Melody! I also got a cute Hello Kitty surprise toy! Hee hee! Foodwise, my friend was excited about "cherng funn" which is a Hong Kong comfort food consisting of wide, flat, rolled noodles, topped with sesame and soy sauce. I passed on the hot sauce and agreed to the sesame seeds. We also got Hong Kong milk tea - I had to add 2 packets of sugar because it was potent to me! The strongly brewed tea contains a lot of caffeine! I also appreciate 7-Eleven for being open everytime I pass by. The convenience of loading more money (Hong Kong dollars) onto my Octopus Card (Hong Kong debit card) makes life so much better!

Not quite what you'd imagine…read more.. Yes this is a convenient store though it's nothing like what you'd find in Japan at all in fact really sad. You won't find much hot food at all majority are cold and yes it's filled with various snacks, candies, instant cup noodles and drinks but that's about it. I may be reviewing a different location than what I'd think as I'm not familiar with the address but know that they're all basically the same and doesn't offer the crazy variety that we're all used to BUT we found out that they do sell "Octopus Card" similar to a Suica Card used in Japan this is what they use in Hong Kong to board the ferry and even make purchases in shops as well. You're charged a fee and minimum to add is 50HK which is quite a lot but the convenience versus purchasing at the ferry terminal is quite convenient for sure. The staff does speak little English though wasn't the friendlies the vibe here is basic and so are the selections. Thank you!

Getting bottled water and an Octopus card (debit card used in Hong Kong) at a nearby 7-Eleven was…read moreconvenient, but a learning experience. I was able to buy bottled water with my credit card. However, for the Octopus card, it's cash only. Luckily, there was a Money Exchange shop on the corner. I got some Hong Kong dollars, went back to 7-Eleven, and got my Octopus card! I'll go back for cute snacks and beverages (like lychee black tea) later!
