So I think this place changed ownership. I remember it being a lively outdoor covered café where the delivery drivers and business people went to grab a bite to eat and have a coffee during the day and the happy hour crowd grabbed a meal (from the occasional grill that filled Clarence street with the smells of bbq meat) and conversed before going to the bar. Now it's got the same décor and café, but the menu has expanded a little to include Vietnamese dishes (don't get me wrong, I love Vietnamese food, Xage in Surry Hills is one of my favourite restaurants of all time). But pho noodles and coffee didn't seem to appeal to me. I had a breakfast wrap that was good. The service is still friendly and the coffee is also good, but it's got a different vibe. 68 degrees is the perfect temperature for coffee brewing, but has a little way to go to becoming the perfect café.
Also, they used to have free WiFi. I don't know if they do anymore, but ask. It was a big plus for me in the city. read more
