Our roof was done sloppily with collateral damage to the dormers that caused a leak. They claim that there is nothing wrong with the roof itself and therefore they do not have responsibility for the leak, and because the leak only occurs with heavy storms with wind, the leak cannot be caused by the roof. However, this leak did not exist prior to their work on the roof. Basically stay away, they are not to be trusted to stand by their work.

Most roofs in the neighborhood were done in a day, but because of the mix up ours was going to extend to Tuesday. Brad Erickson, the field manager stopped by on Monday night and I told him about the mix up. He apologized and took charge of the situation. On Tuesday morning we had a full crew right at 7 AM and they went to work. They had things wrapped up by 11.30 AM, with the site clean and the roof looking great. In my estimation, Brad saved the day and kept this customer happy and willing to give Liberte a 5 star rating. Thanks Liberte and thanks to Brad! Sincerely, Tim H

We are doing everything from the roof to a replaced porch and siding. The roofing crew did a complete tear off and partial deck removal so I would have a smooth roof again in just two days. From bid to completion, you always know what is going on! Because you get texts, photos, and calls for updates and immediate answers. While our project isn't done yet, I have no doubt we will have it wrapped up in just a few more days. I totally trusted them. Shortly after the replacement it leaked. They came out it promptly, diagnosed the problem and allegedly made the repair. This spring with the rains it leaked again in both places. I reported and they came out again. Without in inspecting, walking up the driveway they said it was condensation, and that was my problem. Mind you the roof never leaked before. It's now staining my sheet rock inside the house, I'm sure its now a mold problem. After concerned conversation they said they would send out a specialist to test and now crickets from them. Ive even had a fan going on both the impacted areas trying to dry it out 24/7. When it seems dry I paint because it looks horrible. Then when it rains, I have to start over. I'm a old man (64). I shouldn't have climb up ladder, having to risk my health to try to repair the damage again and again hoping the damage has been resolved. I hoped not to write a letter here, but the "it's your problem" is a real problem for future clients....

I highly recommend everyone stay away from TCR. TL;DR several roofing installation mistakes made,…read moresevere lack of communication from TCR throughout the entire process, and I was asked to write a review before work even began - red flag. After getting roof replacement quotes from 5 different companies, I decided to go with the second to cheapest option - which was Twin City Roofing. And of course, I got what I paid for. The problems began after I signed the quote and handed over the deposit check. I live next to a day care and young children play outside all of the time. Paul, the project manager that was working with me, suggested they perform all of the work on the 4th of July week since kids likely wouldn't be at the day care then. I arranged with my neighbor to not have kids there that week. A few weeks go by and I didn't hear from Paul or anyone else at TCR. The Friday before the 4th of July week, I reached out to Paul to find out when they would be coming and he said "Next week I believe". Then on Monday when no one arrived, I reached out to Paul again. He responded by saying he was on vacation and that Robert P. in the production office could help. I reached out to Robert and he said "I can tell you it won't be this week." Obviously I was unhappy that the roof wasn't going to be replaced that week but I was more upset with the lack of communication throughout the process. It should not be on the client to have to contact the company multiple times to try to get answers. Nonetheless, when the roofers came to replace the roof on my house, garage and shed, they came unannounced. The concerning issues came from work on the roofs. The shingles on the ridge of my shed transitioned from shingles that are meant to be put on ridges to what look like starter shingles. It is very obvious this is not correct. And on my garage, there is a full 15" of a starter shingle that is literally just hanging from the edge of my roof. How did this get missed?? And the biggest issue is with the flat roofs on my house. I asked all of the appropriate questions to Paul from the outset to make sure that there would be grading on the flat roofs such that all of the water would flow to the spout and drain. Alas, a few days after the work was complete, we got our first rain storm and I saw water pooling along the edges of the flat roof and heavy pooling in one corner. I contacted TCR on July 14th and sent pictures of all of these issues. I didn't get a response so I sent a second email on 7/20. I finally got a response from Tyler and he asked me when would be a good time the following day for him to check out my issues. I responded with a time in the morning. I then didn't hear back from him and he did not show up the next day. I was later contacted by Robert and he said he was working on a game plan on getting my issues addressed. Five days later (7/26), he sent another email saying he would have a game plan the following day and he would let me know. As you can imagine, I did not hear from him on 7/27. I emailed Robert again on 7/28 with no response. Finally on 8/9, Tyler came out to my house to take pictures of my concerns. He agreed that all of them need to be addressed. He said he would let me know soon what the next steps would be. I have not heard from him since. I emailed Robert on 8/16 telling him Tyler came out to my house and that I was looking for more information when the fixes can occur. I have not heard from TCR since - at all. I should have known from the get go something was off because after I gave Paul the deposit check, he asked me to write a good review of his efforts to boost the company. I was certainly not going to write a review for services that had not yet begun. If you do go with TCR, make sure to pay as little as possible up front so they have to come back and fix issues before they get their full payment.
