Food Coffee was promptly delivered to our table. It arrived hot and tasted pretty good. The ham n cheese omlet arrived fresh and hot. They were out of chalula hot sauce. Lol. The omlet was okay. Quite greasy. The potatoes were cubed and tasted deep fried. Not a bad thing. Just an observation. The combined tastes were pretty good. The Denver omlet was very good. Super cute little cafe if you're looking for breakfast, especially if you don't want fast food or a chain. It was right down the street from our hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was DELICIOUS. It was fresh and I can't believe the low prices. They could definitely raise their prices because it's worth it. A small brunch hotspot in Downtown Fort Wayne run by a small team of hospitality professionals. All menu items are reasonably priced and are large enough to share with 2-3 people. The burritos are huge and filling. Each one comes with freshly prepared red and green salsas. Since it was my first time, they let me sample their queso with my burrito. This new restaurant was brought to my attention by a friend of mine. So, after some Farmer's Market and antique shopping I decided to stop in for lunch. It definitely has a "cafe" feel to it. Nothing fancy but clean, which I appreciate. Considering it's a smaller restaurant they have a pretty good size menu. If you like soda made with pure cane sugar they serve "stubborn" and it was pretty tasty. So we order the chips and queso dip. When they arrived it was obvious the chips were straight from a bag I could have picked up at Walmart so I didn't have much hope for the queso dip but boy was I wrong! These queso dip was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I would absolutely return just to have some more dip. We also order grilled fish taco and Thai style tacos. After going back to check with kitchen as to what Thai style was the waitress did a nice job explaining it. So good we ordered it. Only to be told a few minutes later they didn't have it that day. You think they would have told her that when she was asking about it. Oh well. We both got the grilled fish tacos (street style) and were not disappointed. These were seriously flavorful taco. My husband and I are traveling through Arkansas for our 5th anniversary and we found this little cafe and boy were we surprised! The food was incredible! The service was fantastic and our food was out in a matter of minutes! The bacon was so delicious and cooked just perfectly. [Update: What a difference staff makes! We went back a second time and had the opposite experience from the first. This time, the bacon was burned, the biscuit was mushy, and the eggs were not as good as the first time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and our server/cook went outside for a smoke and to check her cellphone. We waited quite a while for her to come back in so we could pay our bill. We wish Sam had been there this time - he and his cooking were great.] We've been traveling for the last six months and these were the best scrambled eggs we've had during that time! Everything else was good too, including the service - very friendly and pleasant. We plan on returning here as our "go-to" place for breakfast when we're in the area. read more

Nice addition to Fort Smith's downtown. A decent eatery breakfast lunch or dinner that avoids the "over 21 seedy boozehall" atmosphere. This is a nice clean cafe that serves good food. They have a lo-carb menu. They serve breakfast - which is a huge bonus. Very few places around that area serve breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day. Special mention goes to this cafe serving Stubborn Soda. It's a real sugar fair trade soda without High Fructose Corn Syrup. Unique flavors too. read more

Eaten there several times for lunch and breakfast with mixed results. Lunch is definitely better than breakfast with a strong Mexican influence on the menu along with good service. My last visit for breakfast found them out of eggs and a staff that was indifferent. This place is ok if you are in downtown Ft Smith. read more

Place was mediocre at best. Was out of a lot of thangs and the shrimp Po boy was just ok nothing special shrimp was over cooked on the better side had a special sodas. I'm giving 5th Street a 4 because it was better than I expected. A lot of small town cafe's have low quality, tasteless food. However, the food we had was very tasty and fresh! I had the tai style tacos. The veggies and meat were fresh and the whole dish had very good flavor. My husband had the beer battered fish sandwich and it also tasted very good! A nice surprise when you might be expecting just a greasy experience! Improvement I would ask for: fresh cut fries instead of frozen. Fresher smell in the restaurant... it smelled a little greasy. Employees that smoke should not do it out front where customers can see. That's a turn off for us! Overall it was a great place to stop before we toured the historic Ft. Smith area. Though my review is based off of one order I got through door dash I'm going to give it an easy 5 stars. I feel like a lot of place like this are slept on. After a couple months of eating healthy and going to the gym I had to tears myself with a little something something but it turns out I rewarded myself with a little more food than I could handle. It seemed unreal at the price point. The food is not pretty in a good way. Sort of like the kardashians. If you wanna grub down like Jesus during the last supper I'd recommend this place. It's sloppy and delicious all at once. You can feel your heart getting completely clogged with atherosclerosis but in the nice way. Basically a pile of ma and pas food just dumped all together into a heaping mountain of everything that's bad for you but life would be pointless without. I found this place by walking by at lunch time and decided to try it. It wasn't busy and it had several lunch specials so I was interested. The server seemed a little off to me she was kinda scattered I thought but we all have off days. I told her I was new in town and this was my first time at this place. I choose the spicy hawaiian type burger with fries and had Coke to drink. The soft drinks were $1.99 which were Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite. Then they had a specialty fountain soda which had several options but that was $2.99. Nowhere on the menu does it mention no free refills on Coke or the other sodas. These days everywhere does free soda refills on fountain sodas so when you are told there are no free refills on the Coke it's kinda surprising. Another server came over and asked if I wanted more Coke and I said yes. My actual server was behind the counter when the other server refilled my glass and said to her that there are no free refills on Coke and then yelled across the restaurant to me if I still wanted it when it wasn't free. I said no. The food was decent, not bad not great but just the whole soda issue really turned me off. Considering I was the only person in the restaurant at the moment and having told the server I was new in town and it was first time there I would have thought she could have said to me that they don't do refills on Coke type sodas and that in future they won't be doing them for free. The other server had already poured the refill in my glass so the product had already been used but instead of giving it to me she ended up dumping the glass. A simple refill of Coke fountain soda without charge would have made me more inclined to revisit the place but that little hiccup left a bad taste in my mouth. Again, there was no mention anywhere on the menu about no free refills. Also, my server was quite chatty with the other employees that day discussing how not busy they were and they all wondered why. Perhaps little details like a refill of fountain soda that costs pennies is a good reason that people aren't coming back. It's the reason I won't be back.
