If you don't feel obligated to adult, you could skip these. For entrees the Beef Bourguignon had us all reminiscing about watching Julia Child make the "one of the most delicious beef dishes concocted by man". The Artizen version is tender and delectable. The Salmon A L'Oseille was moist and buttery. The Duck Cassoulet was my least favorite entree because duck wasn't the star of the show and the beans could have been a bit more tender. It was more like a sausage cassoulet. As a side, the flavor of the Potato Au Gratin was so good I didn't care the center had slightly undercooked potato. For desserts, if you love chocolate please get the Pot De Crème and the Opera Cake. They are indulgent, rich, chocolatey perfection. While the Mango Lassi Crepe Cake is the best version of crepe cake I've had in awhile and the Lemon Sable Tart was pretty with its whipped cream and meringue topper, I'd stick to all chocolate next time. The dinning area isn't a little neighborhood bistro in the 6th arrondissement and the table service was rough, but it was still a fun meal to try before it's gone. Offering the usual local "drive in" faves of combination plate, mochiko chicken, sandwiches, and all the breakfast fixings and decided to get the "Eggs & Meat" Mini for $6 and it came with a choice of Portuguese sausage, bacon, link sausage, smoke sausage, spam or ham...whew that's a bunch of choices! along with a scoop of rice it was a great breakfast deal. There was just a single lady working it all making it a bit of a wit for your order if you're in a rush some had made some phone orders which is smart if you already always in the area as parking is very convenient and a great location as there are many seating area already provided by Waterfront Plaza so that you can chill and enjoy your breakfast but don't forget here it's a minimum of $5 for parking validation...super easy! Not sure if it's Kaka'ako Eats or Honolulu Baking Co but it's the home of the Starbucks treats they used to supply and I do come here to grab moms favorite Oatcake whenever I can and today was one of them. Located in more the industrial area near BJ Penn which is a lot of construction currently going with condominium rising everywhere you can still find a bit of old Kaka'ako here as this building is a massive bakery and was told that it goes all the way throughout with everything they need to bake up some yummy treats which they do. With the construction alone street parking is impossible but I just find a spot in the lot to park for quick pick up. The lady there is just a delight speaking so proudly of their facility and the yummy treats they have and some savory breakfast as well, give them a look as supporting local is easy and Ono! Love walking around a neighborhood then finding these little gems of places…read more Kakaako Eats just opened last month as an outdoor coffee and breakfast eatery featuring baked goods from Honolulu Baking Co and delicious savory bites ! It's a great little grab and go spot with a cute outdoor seating area. Perfect place to get some shelter from the sun and let your fur baby take a moment to rest while you enjoy one of their delicious breakfast burritos or stuffed bagels or tantalizing baked goods. The customer before me assured me that the Pineapple upside down cake would not disappoint. Learned that the baked goods are also sold at the Honolulu International Airport, catering events, and formerly was the main supplier for all the Starbucks in Hawaii. I remember those delicious amond croissants and oatcakes. And, yes, you can get those delicious baked goods at Kakaako Eats, on a rotating basis. Today they were featuring their pineapple upside down cake and fresh baked scones. I opted for a breakfast burrito and blueberry scone... for later. Then later came and time to enjoy the scone. Again, I was wowed by the deliciousness. For a mere $3 enjoyed the most delicious blueberry scone loaded with fresh blueberries. It was on the smaller side, but so was the price. I prefer it that way. Makes me want more. Maybe tomorrow when I walk my friend's fur baby. Scone 9/10 Breakfast burrito: consisting of wrap perfectly grilled, filled with turkey, white cheese, tater tots, and a whole lot of deliciousness. Served with the most delicious salsa (really... love) that housemade salsa. Also available breakfast bagels, breakfast sandwiches, the most delicious looking musubis, and other items on a rotating basis. ...Not hot enough? Use one of the "Adoboloco" hot sauces to kick it up a notch. Hot sauces also available for purchase here...just call ahead to order. 9/10. Pandan coffee: served iced cold and refreshing. Each wrap is good and unique in its own way. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Generous and balanced portions, and neatly and beautifully wrapped. My favorite is Joyce's Club wrap because it has the most things! Turkey, ham, cheese, bacon, avocado, sprouts, tomato, and garlic aioli in a spinach wrap. The ABC wrap - if you want something simple.
