My go to is the spicey sausage with onions and peppers with hot sauce and bbq. Nice hero bread that is soft to soak up all the juices and matches well with with the sausage that makes a great meal. Other good items here are the meatball hero or the chicken meatball helo. You can tell it's home made and full of flavor. You can get it either with marinara sauce or the ala vodka sauce. My go to would be the meatball hero with ala vodka hero. Friendly and good service and family owned. It's a great place to get a bite to eat and will be definitely back.

The sausage itself had a good, snappy casing and plenty of flavor, and the onions were sweet and greasy in that way that tastes great while you're eating it, but makes you feel kind of depressed about thirty minutes later when you're just sitting around thinking about your life and blew off the gym. The bread was decent a little chewy, but it held the whole sloppy mess together without completely collapsing in your hands. ​The guy working the window wasn't trying to be your best friend or give you some big phony smile, which I actually appreciated. He just handed over the brown paper bag, took the money, and moved on to the next guy. It's not the kind of meal that makes you want to write a poem, but it fills you up with foodie happiness when you're wandering around feeling miserable and hungry.
