Teddy Swims--and they nailed it flawlessly. It was such a magical moment, and so many of our friends and family came up to us afterward saying it was one of the most beautiful first kisses they've ever seen. Booked 5D Entertainment for our wedding a couple weeks ago (October 2025) and it was so great! We've been in contact with Davin the most and he's extremely responsive and helpful. Jarrod was our DJ on the day-of. We've gotten so many compliments! His transitions were so good which I fear is hard to find in a wedding DJ. We requested for throwback r&b for dinner and he delivered. We had so many guests singing and vibing the whole reception thanks to Jarrod. We requested to have r&b, hip-hop, pop punk and EDM on the dance floor which is a lot of genres. Our timeline was pushed back a bit where the dance floor time was cut by 30-40 minutes but Jarrod still made it work where all genres we requested were very well balanced while also maintaining a good flow and transitions between all the genres. Looking for the right DJ/MC was so important to me because they set the tone for the reception. I was looking for a DJ that could turn the dance floor into a club, but also someone who understood the culture of a Vietnamese wedding. Davin was exactly that. He understood our vision and executed. We didn't have a wedding planner, so he helped us plan a timeline. On the day of the wedding, he would always check in with us to see if we needed to adjust the timeline. I am so grateful that we found and went with Davin & 5D Entertainment for our wedding. I cannot express how much confidence working with him instilled in us that our vibe would be perfect. Davin is so organized, and he was proactive in following up when I was procrastinating lol. His responsiveness and experience even impressed my planner, especially when he suggested scheduling a follow up timeline review meeting to make sure everything was clear. On the day of, we ended up seeing rain in the forecast for the latter half of our outdoor reception. Davin and my wedding planner/coordinator pivoted incredibly well to having both the outdoor and indoor areas set up for music, since we wanted to be able to utilize the outdoor space for as much time as we could. He also had the incredible suggestion to pivot our table greetings to having tables come up to us, which made for really fun photos and ended up speeding up the process. All of our guests were raving about the music, and Davin did an amazing job at reading the room and making adjustments to our playlists (we had given some examples of different music to play depending on the vibe). They had all the services I was looking for and more: DJ, MC (multi-lingual!), uplighting, and photobooth. From the first call I had with Davin, I felt I was in good hands. He was so friendly and accommodating and he was always so quick to respond to emails. He was so helpful in helping to put together our timeline of the night and would make suggestions of how to make things fit better and about fun games we could play and how to execute them. He also helped edit our first dance song, mother/son dance song, and designed the template for our photobooth strip. The photobooth came with a bunch of fun props, a beautiful backdrop, and the pictures were good quality! We found Davin through Yelp and we are so glad we did. Our wedding was what you would call a DIY wedding where we took on most of the planning and executing but we knew we wanted someone to handle the music and give everyone a good time. From start to finish - Davin was phenomenal. He was organized and so personable when we met on Zoom video calls. He checked in on as a pivotal points to make sure we were still good and on track. He asked us questions about ourselves so he could get a feel of who we were and the type of environment we wanted to provide our guests. My husband and I aren't music buffs, but we did grow up with 90s, 00s music and our guests loved his song selections. He provided us with a spreadsheet of the day's event and he pretty much became our day of coordinator outlining the itinerary BUT ALSO was extremely flexible when we wanted to add and change things - always checking in with us to make sure we were good without making us feel overwhelmed. We did tell him that we trusted his expertise and he had full range (and this was a lot given that I'm a bit of a planner myself). We didn't have a traditional bridal party and instead we had a bunch of kids be part of our entrance and he made them all feel comfortable on the dance floor.
