My very first thoughts weren't about how much money I was spending, but was about how much money I was saving on something that was going to be very exciting for me to learn. My dance instructor, Charmaine made sure my learning pace was set at my comfort and confidence level. Anne-Marie offered suggestions and tweaked my technique. Erin reviewed and monitored my knowledge of the dance routines on a weekly basis to make sure I was getting the best results of my dancing package. Dance routines that I've learned so far is the "Push Pull" ,"Rumba" and Triple Time Swing" better known as the East Coast Swing. More dancing lessons to follow........ I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate Erin, as well as her gifted/talented instructors, Anne-Marie and Charmaine, whom have changed my outlook on life, given me positive direction and personal fulfillment with dancing, that I still continue to enjoy to this day. Rather than creating an encouraging and supportive environment for beginners, the instructor repeatedly and unnecessarily reprimanded one of us for attempting to help her partner follow the steps. The corrections were delivered in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh and embarrassing in a group setting. We fully understand that learning a new skill takes time and that instructors need to provide direction. However, there is a significant difference between constructive instruction and repeatedly scolding a student. When we expressed our discomfort, the situation was not handled in a manner that reflected the level of professionalism or customer care we would expect. We ultimately decided that this was not an environment in which we wanted to continue learning. While we understand the stated no-refund policy, we were also disappointed that our concerns were met primarily by a reference to the policy rather than any meaningful acknowledgment of our experience. Beginners should leave a class feeling encouraged to return--not embarrassed for trying.

Our daughter has always been a big Michael Jackson fan and into dance so we knew we wanted to make it a fun mash up dance. We started with "I hope you dance" by Lee Ann Womack and busted into 4 different MJ songs. Well my first call to them went to voicemail. However, they got back to me right away. We showed up for our first session and the instructor we were assigned was Naomi Cook. We hit it off right away and she was as excited about putting together this routine as we were to do the dance. We met up nearly every week to add or even change parts of the dance. She listened to us and removed and/or incorporated moves on our suggestions and on her own. By the end of it we had a solid routine with many moves to dazzle the wedding guests. But wait there's more. Once our daughter then decided to get her fiance (now husband) involved and she put together a dance routine for them as well. After she felt we had the routine down she invited us to one of their dance parties (which they have often) to practice in front of the whole group. There were about 60 ppl there and we did the dance for them. Everyone loved it and were very supportive. Then August 3rd came and our dance. Well we knocked it out of the park and now have the memory of a lifetime. As requested online, I brought my own mat, and props (blocks and blankets) were available in the studio. My weekday morning class was small, about four others, but the flow ended up being just right after a stretch without any organized yoga classes for me. I have been watching their calendar for more classes that fit with my schedule.
