He recommended replacing both rear tires instead of just patching the one, and I went with that. They had both tires swapped in about 15-20 minutes, which was way faster than I expected. Everyone working there was friendly and easy to deal with. Fun bonus: the walls are covered in photos of celebrities who've come through, and some of them even wrote personal messages to the shop. They also mentioned American Sniper was filmed there, which was pretty cool to hear. Quick, honest service and good people. Highly recommend!

For some time now, I've been hearing very loud squeaking from my brakes, so I brought my car back to Davis Bros. I know some squeaking can be normal, but what I've been hearing sounded abnormal, and it was extremely loud. I felt the person who assisted me was really dismissive, but he had a mechanic check my brakes. I completely understand they are busy, and I had no issue waiting or leaving my car to come back later. About 10 minutes later, I was told my brakes were great; there was just dust and dirt they couldn't clean off. I responded, "Really? It seems so loud!" and he assured me everything was fine. Another customer in the waiting area called me "annoying," I guess because I was questioning their expertise. I have always trusted David Bros, but I knew something was not right. I took my car to another mechanic a few hours later, and it turns out that the shims were missing from the front pads. The shims were not missing before my brake service at Davis Bros in 2024. At the very least, they could have left the old shims in. I'm really disappointed the shop didn't fully replace the parts during my last brake service, and even more disappointed they didn't catch it when they rushed me out this week. Again, I understand they are busy, and my brakes may not be a big deal compared to all of the other services being provided that day, but this experience has completely turned me off from returning.

However, I took my car "that I've always taken to the dealer for an oil change" here. And the next day it was leaking oil everywhere. Unfortunately, I wasn't in town to bring it right away, and had to bring it back to the shop about 2 weeks later . (Still leaking btw) they said it was the "gasKeT" and I would have to pay another $48 to get this repaired. They said I should have brought it the day after i got the oil changed. Later after all the back and forth they offered to cover the costs for labor ,but I would have to pay for the part. Which was $3. I did not expect for them to charge me at all considering i had returned literally about 2 weeks later. (And called them over the phone twice to advise what was going on" They said i was "taking advantage" and told me god was watching. They said there was no way of knowing the part was damaged or defective . In my opinion they should have checked the gasket while doing the oil change . I ended up paying $10 which I didn't feel was fair but; at least they could pay off their $3 part they replaced. Next day after the lecture and "repair" ITS LEAKING AGAIN! haaaahahah now I have to go to the dealer and figure out what they broke on my car. I'm glad I didn't pay the $48 the second time around considering I came in with a car that was perfectly fine and left with a leaking car . THANK YOU LA TIRES AND AUTO BODY SHOP !!! :) I've spent $120 total for oil, filter, labor, a "gasket" and now I have a car with a bigger problem and NO OIL . DO NOT GO HERE !

Despite the long lines, they were able to get my tire fixed relatively quickly, worked around my hectic schedule, and were incredibly attentive to my needs throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was their honesty and customer service. There was actually an issue where I was accidentally overcharged, and Martha caught the mistake right away! Chris and Randy were quick to reach out and make things right. The funny part? I kept dodging their calls because I was afraid they were calling to tell me they had UNDERCHARGED me! Their prices were so affordable that I genuinely thought that was the case! It's refreshing to find a business that not only offers great prices and efficient service but also goes out of its way to do the right thing, even when the customer doesn't realize there's an issue. I had set of 4 tires dropped shipped directly from Tire Rack (just like the past installations) and wanted to have them mounted, balanced and aligned at Tire Central. I arrived before 8:30 last Saturday 10/3/26, expecting the doors to be open by 9AM and expecting to get the work done, only to discover that the shop was closed. I ended up waiting close to three hours, only to find out that Tire Central closes on alternate Saturdays. When I spoke to Donald in person earlier today Saturday 10/10/26 (suddenly already open before the 9AM official operation hours; erratic), I was particularly disappointed by his rude and dismissive manner. Rather than feeling like a long time, loyal customer deserving of basic courtesy and consideration, I felt as though I was an irritating nuisance. After more than two decades of patronage, that was an unpleasant way to be treated. Donald blamed Google, explaining on a phone call the week following the long 3hr Saturday opening wait, that he was unable to edit or update the business hours to reflect the alternate Saturday closures. He also pointed out that the correct operating hours were listed here on Yelp. However, not everyone checks Yelp for business hours. Many customers, myself included, rely on Google to find operating hours and plan their visits. Having accurate hours on one platform while the information on another is incorrect creates unnecessary confusion and wastes customer's valuable time. I also heard that the Hunter alignment technician was off-sick. I understand that unexpected staffing issues can happen, but customers deserve accurate information and reasonable communication before making a trip to the shop. After waiting for hours, I expected a more understanding and customer-oriented response. What disappointed me most was the apparent lack of consideration for my time and loyalty. I expected better communication, professionalism, and customer service I'd supported this local business for decades. This experience was the final straw. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Decades of customer loyalty should count for something. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that mine didn't.

They said they could and so I eventually brought it down. They did the alignment, and they did tell me "they did the best they could" and sent me on my way. The car just wasn't right. After some investigating on my part, I found that the shock tower was cracked and was messing with the upper control arm, making it difficult/impossible to align correctly. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. The car was in a wreck in the 80s (which I also shared with them) so I knew there were risks. However, I do feel that they saw this (given that the car was on the lift and in their face) and said nothing. Is it their responsibility to tell me? Also no.. but the fact that they charged me for the alignment, just said "we did our best" and sent me on my way seems a bit shady to me. A simple, "hey, we saw this crack and it's gonna give you issues in the near future" wouldn't have only been appreciated, but I also feel like it would've been the right thing to do.
