I normally don't shop anywhere else for my produce with the exception of sometimes at Costco, San Gabriel Superstore, 99 Ranch, or Wal-Mart. Besides produce, I do buy frozen meals, ice cream, dairy products, soda, and chips from this Stater Bros. I don't shop meats or seafoods from here even though they are known for their quality meats and seafoods. I get them elsewhere. This store is always looking stocked, organized, and clean. The refrigerated prepared foods were neatly organized and looked appealing. Price point was much less than a meal in a dine in restaurant. Portions looked to be a good size. The Sticky Sesame Tofu Bowl came with cubes of organic tofu, turmeric grain blend, steamed Asian vegetables, and kimchi. It was paired with a sesame garlic ponzu sauce in a cup that is poured over the tofu prior to serving. Overall it is a good lunch that tasted satisfactory. The Grilled Atlantic Salmon plate was a rather good sized portion of fish served with roasted sweet potatoes and green beans. The Red Miso Sauce was fairly sweet. Instructions on the meal indicated that the sauce is to be poured over the salmon but I used it as a dip instead. Overall, this was also a good tasting simple meal. I especially enjoyed the roasted sweet potatoes. The Sprouts prepared food section is worth exploring for a quick meal selection.
