He was very accommodating at first, had great communication with me, and was flexible with my schedule. He and Lourdes came to my apartment (he was an hour late), cleaned while my husband and I ran some errands, came back after completion two hours later, did a quick walk-through, gave them cash, and went our separate ways. We didn't realize how filthy the apartment still was until our stickler of a landlord pointed out how the bathroom still had scum, the interior of the oven wasn't even touched, the windows and shutters were riddled with dust, and the carpet was still soiled. (Please refer to the attached pictures to see what services I requested.) The initial quote was for $200 as noted in the attached image and I ended up paying $500 with a $40 tip. I blame myself for being foolish enough to pay that much, but I was more so focused on the convenience as I'm a full-time RN and student that works overtime every week. At the time, I was thankful for Brian being exceptionally accommodating as previously mentioned. But, boy, was I mistaken. I had to hire an additional carpet cleaning service (spent over $200 for Service Tek, who did amazing) and my husband and I spent well over four hours cleaning the apartment in its entirety. Defeats the whole purpose of hiring this team, right? Now here comes the fun part. I initially asked for a refund in which he offered $200 back. He kept putting it off for various reasons and I'd follow up once weekly. I'm remarkably patient, but have had enough. Brian, at first, answered my calls and texts fairly quickly. Now, he's ignoring my texts. I'll spare the details, but if you're interested, screenshots have been uploaded. To top this off, I received a call from another employee from this company offering cleaning services. Are you kidding me!? No, thank you. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, BRIAN.

They said 1 coat of their recommended paint would do it. My wife and I left the house just after they arrived right on time 8am. They used drop clothes and a sander (with vac attachment) and were very neat in their work. They finished the work and left before I returned at 1pm. My wife returned as they were finishing the job just before noon (4 hrs). She pointed out places that they had obviously missed. Brian went over those with a small roller while she was standing there. They didn't have a light on at the time. They also said that they put 2 coats on rather than one and still missed spots. They were paid in full as they left. After they left, I returned home and we found more spots missed where the crown molding meets the ceiling, actually using a light. My 74 year old wife spent 40 minutes up on a ladder touching up the remaining places they had missed, with the small amount of paint they left us. Today (4/30/26) My wife had a phone conversation with Brian during which he offered No remedy Or apology. He said $169 an hour is what a garage charges for your car so their prices are reasonable. I didn't see 1 wrench around. Apples to Oranges. We have family moving to the area in need of a painter and Will Not recommend BK Painters.

The duplex townhouse we recently bought had a 34 year old roof and desperately needed replacement. Brian, the general manager, was our point of contact. What a sweetheart of a guy! Funny, personable, and *extremely* knowledgeable. He coordinated with our attached neighbor so both sides would be done at once and the roofline would look seamless. The pricing was well within expectations. When work started, his crew arrived promptly each morning and got straight to work. I must say, these guys work fast and hard. It's worth mentioning that they cleaned up their debris beautifully. The place was spotless when they finished. Brian has a good sense of cosmetics on the house and he wrapped the windowsills and replaced a rotted piece. You can see the difference immediately, in the pictures. It looks like a brand new home. We got compliments from our neighbors immediately. Brian went above and beyond our expectations. I asked for a few things, in order to lower my price (for example, taking care of debris myself, installing some shutters myself, etc...). I received a lower quote, but the numbers didn't make sense. As well, I was supposed to have samples brought over, and they weren't. I called and asked about it, and about the numbers, no response. I emailed, no response. I called again (a week later), and got him on the phone. He said he ran out of samples, even though he was supposedly bringing them over a week earlier. He said he'd leave them on his front porch if I wanted to pick them up. He started going off to me about not having time to discuss options with me. And, that since it's a small job I wasn't really too important. I hung up, since it was going nowhere and that's no way to earn my business. If you don't want my money and business, someone else will get it. If I want options to be within my budget, that's my prerogative as a consumer. If your math doesn't add up, I have the right to ask about it. If you don't want "small" jobs, don't quote them.
