I've had chronic back issues for over 20 years. I've had over a hundred massages and Mimi is a Diamond! She worked predominantly on my back for an hour and was conscious of my pressure preference (which is strong). She found pressure points, and knots that I never realized were there. She also does productive stretches to measure how well the muscles were responding to the massage, and my back now feels tremendous. I definitely recommend her as one of the best I've ever experienced! Side note: she reminded me of a loving auntie back in Hawai'i. Don't get your nails done here Scheduled a manicure with…read moreHero and things were going fine, it was a simple shellac manicures, with minimal prep, just shaping the tips of the nails. No cuticle cleaning or buffing. I asked for a French tip. I'm trying out different nail salons to see where to get my wedding nails done and this is not the place. Hero was pleasant and the chat was fine but not even 24 hours later the layers had begun to peel off my nails and in whole pieces. I paid $40 with tip for a $35 manicure that didn't last a whole day. I called to leave a message about a refund because I was so shocked that they came off. Learned today that they would not offer a refund and the only option was I could get them redone and they would try a different technique. I asked why it didn't stay the first time and they said either the tip was applied to thick or I must have done something to cause them to peel. They peeled after I showered. I don't know how simple water could have led to that. I said that was really not helpful and later asked if it would be with Hero again or can some other tech do it, they said it could be another tech but they're booked through August. Shelley does great hair and I love coming here when my hair needs work, but I won't return to get my nails done. I just want my money back for this lousy manicure
