Talented women who are also kind very hard to come by & pleasantly there's both here! I have gotten beautiful work done by Kyra as a lash artist I know great work and she is incredible with design and isolation the most important when getting lash extensions. I also have been going to Lisa she's a really well rounded stylist who can nail the color you're wanting spot on and definitely pays attention to detail and the integrity of your hair. And shout out to Kelly she has figured out last minute scheduling for me and is so kind! I wanted to love this place and return to it. The decor is amazing and my stylist, K. was lovely and did a great job on my hair. But...here's the lowdown. I waited nearly 15 minutes because the receptionist (maybe the owner) didn't tell her I was there. Granted I was a last minute walk in and made an appointment while K was out. The worst part, and I swear often, the place was filled with putrid language that was so offensive, it bothered me. ME! One gal used the "f" word in every breath and sentence. I am new to Billings and experienced a few pedicures at other places, where the experience was poor to just ok. Pedicures it seems are either very well done or short cuts are taken if the nail technician chooses to do so. Price doesn't always reflect quality. However, LISA here at the RUSTIC is fantastic. Fast, (but not too fast) very thorough with much attention to detail. Very confident in her abilities and rightly so. I experienced an Awesome, professional massage that was so relaxing. Friendly, conversational, but she was not nosy. Anyway, I feel that I got way more service than I anticipated and highly recommend her! I certainly will be back as she and the entire staff made me feel super special. The decor of the salon is so cool and nicely decorated in a real western manner .. Made appointment for massage at 4pm. They accepted appointment 3 hours before appointment. But, when I showed up they told me massage therapist was tired, so did I want to reschedule the appointment. No, I left work early and drove across town. Why would I risk doing that again just to find out that someone is to tired to make their appointment. Visiting from out of town. Looked online for pedicure places in Billings and saw this adorable place. I was so excited to have a pedicure and sit in the darling swing chairs. The decor was so well put together and very detail of the place was well done. Then it came time for my service..... they were 30 minutes late. The staff never apologized and didn't really seem worried. One of the staff members talked to us the entire time, interrupting our conversations and sharing inappropriate details about their medical health. We were unable to relax and enjoy our service. What I couldn't understand was what all the staff were doing. There were two gals just milling about while we waited. One staff member looked as though she had come to work in her pajamas. If time and common courtesy mean anything to you stay far away from this place. The facade and decor might be cute but the technician's attitude my appointment was with is downright ugly. She didn't see me until 20 minutes past my appointment time and then proceeded to berate me for scheduling the wrong type of appointment and she didn't have time for me. I made an appointment for a regular manicure not knowing whatever I already have on my nails is of any importance nor does their website indicate such things. (I have SNS powder on them currently, I thought it was like gel and not a big deal. Boy was I wrong!) This place it totally adorable from a decoration stand point however being on time and keeping appointments is not high on the list. Our appointment was at 10am, we still hadn't started by 10:50am. At this point this should be a free service for the length of the wait. And they don't seem concerned that we have been waiting this long. You expect this type of thing at the cheaper nail salons but when I'm paying $50 for a pedicure, I expect a much higher quality service. They definitely need to work out the kinks. If I was the owner I would be apologizing up and down and would do the service for free. They barely apologized. I'm not impressed. 11-16-16 - wow to say that I'm impressed is an understatement. The owner of the salon asked me to call her to to discuss my experience. We had a lovely conversation and she told me all that has been done to fix the problems and change business going forward. My daughter treated me to a mani/pedi for Mother's Day here. I was so excited, hoping it would be all that is had hoped for when you go to a spa type salon. We arrived on time, asked to pick polish and to sit. 20 minutes later I asked if they had any water. After a trip to the back, she brought out ONE warm bottle, there were two of us. We should have left then. That one gesture is how the business is run...with no real thought for the comfort of the customer! I question, now, if any of the techs are really trained. The pedis, swinging, getting in and out, could be very dangerous. I have a bad leg, my daughter is pregnant. The entire time felt that it was very unscheduled and disorganized. Our appt was at 6:00 pm for 2 pedis and one mani. We didn't get out of there till almost 8:00 and I didn't get the mani!!! Brandi said she would get me in and text me the next day. No text. I turned to The Rustic to kick off my wedding-dress shopping trip. I tried to set up a suite of services a few months in advance, but a few communication mishaps changed up the plan. When the mixup became apparent, the staff at The Rustic did everything they could to still provide a great start to my trip. I received an apology, and a chocolate or two, as well as amazing service for my maid of honor and myself. The four technicians who provided our massages and facials were polite, responsive and skilled. In addition, the day spa worked with me to set up services to fit my schedule. Agree that it is a totally cute place, however it was the worst pedicure that I have ever had. I went with my daughter, her tech started her pedi right away, I sat with my feet soaking for 20 minutes while my tech finished his manicure appt. He barely filed the dead skin at all and when doing the salt scrub, he was so rough that it was painful and I have bruises. He then painted my nails, the whole thing took 20 minutes, then told me to sit there for 20 minutes to dry before putting my sandals on. my daughters pedi actually took the 60 minutes that it should. The menu also said that we would have a heated neck wrap which was never offered. I will not be returning, and would hope to save someone else the disappointment. read more

Seems more like a place pretending to be a spa but not making it. I have tried visiting several times for different services. Manicures have been the worst. My first gel manicure peeled off a week later. Went back for a regular manicure that never dried. Both just ended up being a waste of time and money. I also don't find it very relaxing to have a tv on in front of you. Took my husband in for a couples massage for Valentines day. We arrived early for our appointment but had to wait because they didn't have enough tables. Was told when I booked that there would be mimosas and chocolates, there were none. There was no choice of aroma therapy. The weird 90's hits music played by an orchestra was not relaxing at all. Was a bit uncomfortable that you could look through the fireplace in the room out to the waiting area out front of the shop. Was just so disappointing. We arrived for 10 a.m. pedicure appointments to find a bag of garbage welcoming us at the front door. The staff was just arriving for the day. We were told to pick out polish and have a seat. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the concrete floor was. Maybe that is part of the rustic theme. Someone came and started water running in the pedicure tubs and told us to go have a seat and start soaking. No product was added to the water. It was just warm water. The pedicure chairs were swings hanging around edge of the retail space with a view of the front door, cash register and parking lot. They were actually kind of comfortable once we got into them. There was a big screen television on as well as music playing so it wasn't very relaxing or private. While we soaked, the staff continued to empty garbage, fold towels and do random housekeeping chores. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired and didn't have the feel of an upscale spa. We were left to soak for about 15 minutes and the water got cold. When asked how the water felt, we said it was cold. They didn't bother to warm it up. We asked for the sugar scrub pedicure but they were all out of their sugar scrubs so we got the basic pedicure. It was the most basic pedicure we've ever had. All they did was a little trimming and very little filing and then rub oil or something on our legs. No massage , no, scrub, no lotion, nothing! This would have been fine if we'd gone to a walk in nail bar and paid half the price. I will say that the polish looked fine but for the price it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. read more

I had high hopes for the Rustic Nail Bar, the inside is absolutely gorgeous and resembles a high end beauty spa! The employees, however, do NOT. I scheduled an appointment for a mother daughter mani/pedi day 3 weeks ahead of time for 10 am. We show up for our date and the woman working the front desk looked at the book with a sense of inconvenience and as if she had no idea what to do with us. I scheduled specifically what services we wanted but when we got there we were only given the bare minimum (and that's being nice). I sucked it up because my daughter was over the moon excited for our day. Throughout our experience Tony the gentleman doing our nails was AMAZING (and the only reason I'm not leaving just one star) it was as if he was picking up the slack for the other ladies, mind you one of them was complaining about everything in FRONT of the clients. Every time a customer walked through the front door no one would pay attention or even welcome them but Tony and he was the ONLY one answering the phones WHILE trying to take care of his own clients. I was really hoping for a relaxing morning with my daughter in this gorgeous establishment but instead left with a subpar feeling and. I really hope they get their act together soon and get qualified people who are actually client oriented and better at customer service. read more
