Once we set up an appointment, they tested a spot on my couch, first, to see if it would be worth my time & money. Again, they were honest that it might not come out to be as white as I would like. But I decided to give it a go & Jeremy (I'm pretty sure that was his name) worked diligently for 4 hours to try to get it as clean as he could. He did an amazing job! It looked SO much better once he was finished. Of course, they were right. My couch isn't bleach white anymore. But they were able to get many stains out & make it look so much more presentable. I'm thankful for the honesty & effort put into cleaning our beautiful couch. I will be using Smith Bro's in the future. Our couch is a large sectional & they charged $275 to have it cleaned & an additional $150 for the scotch guard product they use (only it's better than scotch guard). VH Services failed on both fronts despite claims that they were 'baseboard specialists'. Their failure on both services forced them to return for recleaning. They then tried to claim that we have a spider infestation (we don't) and needed to call an exterminator (to absolve them from cleaning cobwebs, maybe?). Communication was poor, at best, with emails and texts sent in the late evening, then complaining about slow response when we replied in the morning. After many attempts to reconcile the situation, we ended our relationship which cost us $750 for new locks because they refused to return our keys in a timely manner. Though the keys have been returned (finally), it was at VH Services pace, it was only after rekeying was completed. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for your next cleaning service. --

I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. The products they used smelled so strong and lingered for days, giving me a headache for a week afterwards. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power!
