First, I'd like to say that our salesman Gilbert was great! He helped us a lot and he's very friendly. Next, let's be clear, I'm aware this is a used car lot. However, it was quite a shock to me how this car lot allows their vehicles to be sold. The one we were looking at had the check engine light on, a few dings in the windshield and the check TPM light on. My husband being a technician and loving the vehicle said these were small things he could fix at little to no cost. No big deal. And he did. What does tick me off is that I had the car for 1 week before the oil light came on! 1 WEEK!! Now anyone who's bought a vehicle before knows that it's supposed to go through a general inspection before being put on the lot. When promptly ask what the code was for the engine light, they had no idea, they hadn't checked it. But still put it on the lot. The oil, they had no idea because no inspections or maintenance was done to the vehicle before putting it on the lot. BAD BUSINESS. I'd think twice about buying here, or at least check literally EVERYTHING before you buy and make them do the maintenance on it before taking it off the lot. My oil was black as coal by the time my light came on. I would've had a new, blown up car had the light not came on to warn me because I never thought to check and see if they'd done a general inspection. Really, really disappointed in the product I was sold. When they say, AS IS, they mean it folks.
*UPDATE* my husband has totaled this vehicle since my original review and only then did we find out that we purchased a $2500 warranty without being asked. Yes you're reading that right. They added that into our loan without consulting us. We found this information out from our GAP insurance company when they called to ask for the warranty paperwork. WOW!! read more
