I started with Sonia back in 2014 and I have frequented every single location Sonia's waxing plus has had over the years. I am always willing to travel near and far (from West Hills actually, lol) for services because it's worth it! Sonia and her team don't just do waxing services, they also do skin care which is important when getting waxing services. Sonia always checks the integrity of my skin, She can always tell if I have or have not exfoliated or when I have and have not used the Vanish, (always buy and use the vanish!) My skin is one of my best features, Sonia and her team are part of my beauty dream team that keeps my skin looking like GOLD! Always on time and on track with appointment times. I see her every 5 weeks for my Brazilian, arms, and sometimes armpits. Brazilians are notoriously painful if you wait too long, but Simone is great about making the process comfortable. My boyfriend also sees her for back waxing and is always happy with the results. Her place is beautiful and always spotless. My EWC account already contains my previous visit history, so if I wasn't eligible, the app should not have offered me the promotion in the first place. I was not told I was ineligible until AFTER my eyebrow wax had already been completed. At that point, I was told I had to pay $27 for a service I booked believing would be free. During the appointment, I was also asked if I ever get my upper lip waxed, which felt like an unnecessary attempt to upsell me on another service. I contacted EWC Corporate Guest Relations, who referred me back to this location because it is independently franchised. I would appreciate a manager or owner from the New Hyde Park location reaching out to me directly to resolve the charge.
