This barn is clean and friendly. The horses are looked out for by everyone because it's like a big family here. They are also turned out daily. There is an Olympic size dressage ring and also a jumping arena. I can't say enough about Kerstin, the trainer. She trains dressage, equitation and equestrian jumping. She is patient, kind, but also assertive. The best of everything. I'm so happy to be a part of this barn! I road Olaf who was the fatty of the group so he would at times disobey reign pulls to try to check out something green. But never felt unsafe on him or bothered by his curiosity. He never strays too far from the group. The ride is fun but there are sections without shade so I recommend a hat and sunscreen on the morning rides. There's also other animals on the property. You can ask to see them if there's time. We were able to have some time holding some of their rabbits before the next trail riders showed up. This is a family owned business and LGBTQ friendly/safe. I highly recommend it and would most likely come again for another ride and to check out their other animals.

Gina gave us a tour of the horse stable and we were able to feed the horses carrots. It was pretty cool. And the horses were excited to be fed. Before coming in, Mandy was very helpful and responded quickly to my messages and questions. The day of the ride, the weather was great and my assigned horse, Spirit was just lovely. We got to explore a beautiful park that had a combination of wide, open spaces as well as smaller paths, completely surrounded by a variety of trees, vines and plants. I really appreciated the freedom and feeling of being away from the city. It might be helpful to mention that both Happi Farm and HGS share a location, however they are separate. In order to get to Hidden Stables you have to cross through Happi Farm, which can be a bit daunting, but honestly everyone worked swiftly to make sure people moved to the side & the animals were safe! We got a private one hour trail ride and they made sure the kids were safe the entire time.
