I was dealing with the owner "Matt" problem with my new purchase tires and rims that I paid over $2300. Based on the reviews I was expecting really friendly service and honest people, someone to tell you all the bs and promisses. Unfortunately, I experienced none of these things. They weren't rude per-se but Matt can be very polite but you should never trust someone with that sort of service because I can assure you quite a few red flags went out. I HATE this attitude of shops and avoiding it was the reason I ultimately chose this shop. It was really frustrating to be treated this way. After I got my car back and $2300 out of pocket the rims caps were missing and was promised that it will take no more than couple of days. Honesty is the foundation of the business success. Customers are the bread and butter for there success. I will be taking my business somewhere else and would never recommend this awful auto shop to anyone.

Since I only take the care out for short runs on days where the weather is pretty near perfect I hadn't really noticed how bad the front end (all new) really was until last weekend when I took the car out for a road trip. I knew that I had to bring it in for a wheel alignment. Wow... I have never been to Frisby Tire, but was super impressed by all the staff, from when I called the "day before" to see if they would have time to do the work the following day, to the following day when I brought the car in for the work and even the following day when they followed up with me. Unfortunately, I had waited too long and my two brand new tires were worn out fairly badly - so bad, that they need to be replaced. They did their best to locate the same tires but were unable to find any in Canada. They promised to search and get back to me - and they did the following day. Tim provided me with some good advice and advised that I order them from the U.S. since the specific tires I want are discontinued in Canada. Tim also advised that the tires are on back order in the U.S., and to order them right away and to either have them installed in the U.S. are that they would install them at their shop. All to say that the people at this shop are very pleasant to deal, honest and professionals! A very nice experience, I recommend this shop :-) .

There's also a drive-thru around the back. This place tends to be very busy in the morning. There is also a pay-to-use air pump if you need to inflate your tires. Tip: You can't turn left from the side exit between certain hours of the morning and evening. There are signs posted and yet people often ignore them. There's a reason for the bylaw and that's because traffic leaving the premises and turning left often backs up the traffic heading north and south on Ogilvie Rd.

Unbelievably, the dealer couldn't get one for about 2 weeks so I decided to call some scrapyards. A-16 was the first I called and Nabil, the owner, told me immediately that he had the parts I needed and he would call me back when they were ready. True to his word he called within an hour and about an hour later I had the spare window, which was $75, less than the $220 the dealership quoted. A-16 are an awesome business. They have used parts, gently-used parts, reconditioned parts, refurbished parts and can get you new parts as well. I had a small crack in my rear light unit that was going to cost me around $400 through the dealership to get the part. Nabil got me a replacement after-market, new part for $115. If you have any need for parts for your car, and are ok with gently used, then please give A-16 a call. If they don't have it they can get the part for you at way less than the dealerships.
