Disappointing Experience -- Lack of Integrity and Accountability…read more I had my tires changed by this company last year. Saif arrived very late for the appointment, and because of the delay, he offered me a complimentary wheel cleaning during the retorque appointment. When he returned for the retorque, he told me his back was paining and would have to come back another day to clean my wheels. I followed up with him in both the spring and summer, but he ignored my messages. This fall, he contacted me again to offer wheel services. I reminded him that he had never followed through on the wheel cleaning he had promised. His response was that I hadn't paid for it. That is true, but I wasn't expecting a service I had never been charged for. The cleaning had been offered by him as compensation for his late arrival, and I expected him to honour his word. What disappoints me most is not the wheel cleaning itself, but his refusal to acknowledge the commitment he made, despite my having text messages documenting our communication. To me, integrity means keeping your word, taking responsibility, and treating customers honestly. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a lack of all three. I would not recommend this business. The issue was never about the cost of a wheel cleaning; it was about trust, honesty, and following through on a promise. Those qualities matter when choosing a business, and based on my experience, I would take my business elsewhere.

Since I only take the care out for short runs on days where the weather is pretty near perfect I hadn't really noticed how bad the front end (all new) really was until last weekend when I took the car out for a road trip. I knew that I had to bring it in for a wheel alignment. Wow... I have never been to Frisby Tire, but was super impressed by all the staff, from when I called the "day before" to see if they would have time to do the work the following day, to the following day when I brought the car in for the work and even the following day when they followed up with me. Unfortunately, I had waited too long and my two brand new tires were worn out fairly badly - so bad, that they need to be replaced. They did their best to locate the same tires but were unable to find any in Canada. They promised to search and get back to me - and they did the following day. Tim provided me with some good advice and advised that I order them from the U.S. since the specific tires I want are discontinued in Canada. Tim also advised that the tires are on back order in the U.S., and to order them right away and to either have them installed in the U.S. are that they would install them at their shop. All to say that the people at this shop are very pleasant to deal, honest and professionals! A very nice experience, I recommend this shop :-) .

I was particularly impressed with them on my last visit to replace my tires because as I was driving to the shop my SECOND tire fell off the rim a couple kilometres away. I was stranded on the road without a spare tire but they saved the day! In a matter of 15 minutes they sent out two employees who put on a new tire on the side of the road so that I was able to drive to the shop and get the other 3 put on . All at NO EXTRA charge, NO hassle and a smile. That's what I call service. Thanks!
