    Terrible customer service. I purchased a bed set a couple of years ago and was persuaded to buy the…read moreextended warranty they offered. After only a few months, the bed railing broke due to extremely poor-quality materials. When I went to the store to file a warranty claim, I was told to come back another time because the person in charge of claims was not available. When I returned a few weeks later, I was then told that I had to call three different stores in Calgary just to find out which one my claim had been assigned to. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will never shop there again.

    My parents needed a new table and chairs so I went into the outlet store and although the store was…read morecompletely empty at the time the group of sales members were crowded at the desk chatting. My elderly Mom and I went to look at the tables and began pulling apart the leaf on the one we were interested in while the group of employees continued their chatting amongst themselves. No one approached us or offered help at all. When we went up to the desk we still were not noticed until I said "excuse me". After purchasing the table ( against my wishes but my Mom really liked it) we turned to leave and I said goodbye but they had gone back to chatting and did not hear me. When the day of delivery came after making many adjustments to our day and moving things around to make way for the new table including getting rid of the old one we waited. And we waited, tracked delivery - on truck and on it's way. Waited and waited, it was now 8:30 pm. Called the store, no answer. In short it did not show up. We did not receive a call nor a text to tell us why. Next day I called and a boy answered after being having my story being interrupted several times I asked to speak to the manager. I got an assistant manager who went on to say that the soonest they can get it delivered would be in 5 days. She had no idea what happened and couldn't find out for me as to why there was no phone call. She also told me "I actually like old people" when I explained my parents whom are elderly would no where to eat till then. She went on to tell me that "we are not amazon and can't guarantee a delivery day or time". I again asked to talk to the manager but the assistant manager said she would get her to call me. The manager never called me. Currently we await for the next delivery date which is tomorrow. Needless to say I will be going back to Leon's for any future purchases and will not be recommending The Brick to anyone I know.
