Each part of the business is filled with love and you can feel it through the decor and the drinks. Hearing from Katie allowed the patrons to feel a close connection to the business. Even though it's small inside, it has a nice patio in the back with cute greenery and sitting area. It was so pleasant sitting there eating with the beautiful sky above. I'm all about supporting female owned, locally owned, and of course LGBTQ+ owned! It's important to note this is the first and only LGBTQ+ owned distillery in PA! Everyone is always so nice!! Currently onsite distilling includes coffee (yep!), vodka, rum, rye, and gin. I hear they'll be expanding to bourbon soon. Woohoo! Well, the website said that their kitchen was open when we got there the bartender let us know that it was in fact not open and that it was only beverage service. That was a slight disappointment to us as we probably would've hung out later if we could've been able to get food. I did a flight and tried the honey, the apple, the kilted barrel cast, and the Wapsie. Overall, I thought they were all pretty decent. The kilted definitely has a lot of peak and drinks very closely to a scotch. The honey one for me was my favorite and I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. My husband got an old-fashioned made with the Wapsie. He enjoyed it but liked it even more after the ice melted a bit. We were a little surprised that they close so early on a Monday but they close even earlier on Sundays so highly recommend that you pay attention to the operating hours if you're planning to visit.
