The team at McKay Dermatology & MedSpa TRULY care about their patients!! I always feel so welcome…read moreand love that they take their time and listen to my concerns. My whole family goes here... skin cancer runs in our family and so many have had successful Mohs surgery with Dr. McKay and very thorough skin checks and biopsies with Michelle and Andrea. We know we're in the best hands at McKay Derm! I also love their Medspa events... they are BEAUTIFULLY done and it's great to get to know the staff, products and treatments. I love getting dermatology-approved skincare products and makeup from them, which often go on special at their events. I highly recommend this practice to everyone in the Treasure Coast area!

I come to McKay Dermatology for an annual skin check. As a lifelong Floridian, it's so important to…read moreget checked for any irregularities and McKay has made that process relatively easy for me. The office is easy to find and has a very easy parking lot. The office is clean and check in is simple. I've never had an issue calling to make appointments or for follow up. The waiting room does feel like a bunch of mostly cosmetic offerings and I don't really love that. Are they pushing to make money off services you may or may not need or are they focused on your health truly? The staff have all been kind and I've felt comfortable in the vulnerable position of having your entire body looked at. They take photos for your file of any spots or moles to keep an eye on and I like this. I have been accidentally double billed for a service, but calling to resolve was quick as I had already paid. I will probably continue coming here because it's easy, they have my history, and I won't get caught up in any of their superfluous money making services, but its a middle of the road opinion of them for me.

I was scheduled for surgery in February and I was unavailable, my assistant contacted the office to…read morereschedule. I rescheduled in June, had another consult June 12 with the office where they walked me through what pre-operative tests has expired and what I would need to do to get ready for surgery on the newly scheduled date 7/24. I met with my cosmetic surgeon, she surveyed my body again to make sure nothing had changed and they put me on the calendar. July 2 I spoke to the surgical coordinator, Melissa, by phone. This woman is pretty methodical and she runs a tight ship, I hadn't heard from her about the pre-op stuff so I texted her and she requested a call. My surgeon had quit on June 12, the day of my pre-operative appointment and they just never reached out to tell me. They brought in a new surgeon, she offered to honor the price I had already paid to have surgery with the new surgeon even if it would have been more expensive otherwise because of all the trouble. Because this is such a huge decision, I told them I would meet with their surgeon but I wasn't going to commit to anything and I wanted my money back to explore other options. I was paid in full in December 2024 to the tune of 22k. The owner of the practice emails me, says she'll be back on July 15th from travel and she'll process my refund then. Then, in another email, she produces the attached document notifying me that if I don't keep my money with the practice and commit to surgery with them, they're going to keep 50% because I needed to reschedule in February on short notice. This quote their relying on to take half my money clearly states it's not a contract and I don't think I have ever seen the second page of that quote with the penalties. I didn't cancel anything until my surgeon quit. I certainly didn't cancel in February. They cancelled on me on July 2 and now they're trying to either take my money or stuff this other surgeon down my throat, neither of which are acceptable resolutions to me.

The office was immaculately clean, the people were so welcoming, I felt positive energy from the time the door. I was not sure what I do other than have Botox on my brow area. Well when I went in the room, Heather and Donna made me feel extremely comfortable. They were so loving and and understanding that I have never done a procedure before. We ended up doing my brow, my lip lines, my marionette lines. Donna did a fabulous job and Heather held my hand and made me feel loved and welcomed. I will definitely be going back and sharing this wonderful opportunity with all my friends. he
