Let me explain how Forever Young Midtown got me.
I went in thinking, "Okay, cute. Spa day."
I left looking in every reflective surface between Midtown and my house.
They invited me in for my birthday 8/11 for a full spa experience and facial, and from the minute I walked in, the experience felt elevated without being stuffy. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and -- most importantly -- they LISTENED.
Because, pen pals, let us discuss the elephant in the treatment room:
Yes. I get a little cosmetic assistance. Please.
I regularly stand under stage lights, television lights, photography lights and cameras that can apparently locate a pore from another ZIP code. I am not ashamed of getting a little help. I simply do not want "help" that makes me stop looking like myself.
I tried Nuva because I wanted a natural, age-appropriate result that complemented my genetics and facial structure. Nobody was trying to erase 30 years from my face.
I wanted ME.
Just hydrated, luminous and suspiciously unbothered by the passage of time.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Nuva starts settling in over the next few days, with the difference becoming more visible within about a week.
Perfect timing for Labor Day and Black Gay Pride weekend because HOOOONNNNEYYYY...
The single lesbians of Atlanta apparently have 72 hours to meet somebody, fall in love, introduce her to the friend group, get engaged and make the mass wedding by Monday.
Plan accordingly.
Now let me give Maci her flowers because she did my facial! She was knowledgeable, attentive and thorough, and my skin looked hydrated, healthy and camera-ready.
Pen pals, when somebody has been working on your FACE, you remember her name.
Ask for Maci and tell her Queen Sheba sent you: Maci@ForeverYoung4.com.
And because spas and med spas are marketed to women so often:
MEN NEED FACIALS TOO.
This is not simply about a glow-up. We accumulate sweat, oil, dead skin, environmental grime, Atlanta humidity and approximately six years of emotional damage every time somebody makes us sit on 285 during rush hour.
You wash your hair. You brush your teeth. Take care of your FACE, friends.
Bring your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, non-binary partner, trans partner, gym partner or best friend. EVERYBODY needs a wellness day.
Athletes, runners and gym people: ask about their IV options too -- including Vitamin C and B12. Some of us run, perform, travel, rehearse and work for twelve hours and then act confused when our bodies ask for nutrients.
And if they ever add eyelashes, somebody call Rita because I am moving in. I would be there every three weeks for six hours.
Their pricing is also REALLY reasonable. Forever Young Midtown feels upscale without the luxury pricing getting a little too enthusiastic.
Now, Atlanta, PAY ATTENTION because I am trying to save you some money:
Use my referral code QUEEN08 and receive $100 toward your first visit. If I remembered my own code incorrectly -- extremely on-brand -- just tell the front desk QUEEN SHEBA referred you.
AND ask about the monthly membership because there is another $100 membership offer.
Potentially $200 worth of reasons to stop saying, "I need to book a facial," and BOOK THE FACIAL.
BONUS: Tomorrow, August 29, Forever Young Midtown is throwing a huge all-day party at 12th & West Peachtree.
DJs. Specials. Giveaways. Product giveaways. The whole thing.
Ladies, bring your partners.
Gentlemen, bring yourselves.
LGBTQ+ family, bring the whole alphabet.
EVERYBODY COME.
I'll be there toward the end, so come meet me and inspect their work on my face IN PERSON.
And I already know I am going back.
I originally envisioned a girls' spa trip with my manager/A&R Rita and Chanté Moore before our "Never Again" video shoot in September.
But then I remembered Lil Ronnie -- multi-platinum producer whose credits include Usher and GloRilla, including producing her hits "Yeah Glo!" and "WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME."
We cannot have the man producing the music show up to the video shoot looking like nobody exfoliated him.
So, Lil Ronnie, congratulations. You have been added to spa day.
Wellness does not have a gender, good skin does not have a gender, and nobody on this video shoot is showing up dehydrated if I have anything to say about it.
Five stars from me.
Go see them and tell them Queen Sheba sent you.
