At my last appointment here there were 2 small red roaches crawling on the floor in my treatment…read moreroom. When I brought this to the Managers attention her response was we live in NC, and NC has roaches. I was completely taken back by that response by a medical day spa that specializes in treatments including plastic surgery that require full sanitation to result in zero side effects. I also received BBL laser here on my legs which did absolutely nothing. I then got it on my arms and hands. The hands hurt so bad mine were literally shaking. I personally think the laser was turned up too high for my hands but the Manager stated this is normal. The night of my BBL I couldn't sleep due to my right arm and hand literally being hot to the touch and burning however my left arm and hand were fine. I then realized they offered me the cooling air device during my left arm and hand treatment but not my right. When I brought this to the Managers attention with provided images of my arm she had zero sympathy, said it was normal, and basically told me to go find a new spa. I was also charged for the BBL laser at a different price than I was quoted by the front desk. $850 for 1 treatment that basically burned one of my arms. I don't recommend this practice whatsoever. They had a great provider here named Courtney and she left but I'm not sure why. Maybe it was due to the things I witnessed.

I wish I had access to a practice like this when I was a teenager suffering from acne and low confidence, but at least I benefit now and can finally have better skin as an adult. The treatments are customized to your skin. I get acne treatment facials, salicylic acid chemical peels, laser treatments for rosacea, and use topical syrums and prescription creams. Everything they recommend works really well to keep my skin clear and they sell great products. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.

On top of this I really like their business model, by not dealing with insurance companies directly they are able to save significantly and making healthcare truly accessible!

Dr. Brian Forrest, at Access Healthcare, runs an unusual medical practice. They don't file…read moreinsurance or deal with Medicare or Medicaid, so they have much lower overhead, and they can charge much lower prices than other docs. In fact, they list their prices on their web site! What other doctor does that?? www.acchealth.com Doctor Forrest is a fairly young (40-ish) doctor, but he does medicine the old fashioned way. They give you your care, and you pay them (cash or plastic), and they give you a receipt. Period, that's all. No paperwork (other than your medical history for your first visit). You get a receipt, so if you can get an insurance company to reimburse you, that's great, but it's your problem, not theirs! The result is that they charge much less than other docs. In fact, their charges are often not much more than the insurance co-pay elsewhere! A standard office visit is $49, and that gets you a half hour with the doc or nurse practitioner, not the 10 minutes or so that $100 or $150 will get you elsewhere. What's more, Dr. Forrest has lined up cash-discount deals with many local medical specialists for his patients, for services that he doesn't provide himself, like radiology. He promises the specialists that the patients he sends them will pay immediately with cash or credit/debit card, and zero paperwork, and in return they give his patients steep discounts. The resulting savings can be amazing, as I discovered in August, 2008, when I fell from a ladder and injured my wrist. X-rays showed a non-displaced acute distal radius fracture (i.e., I broke the end of the big bone in my forearm). I got a fancy brace, a prescription analgesic, and three office visits, each with x-rays and radiologist's report. I paid for it all with my HSA debit card. Guess what it cost? Most people guess $3000-$5000. It was actually $270. When I tell people that, most don't comprehend it. They assume $270 was the sum of my insurance deductibles. Wrong. Insurance paid nothing. (My low-cost HDHP insurance doesn't kick in until I spend about $5000.) $270 was the total cost. (Note: that was 2.5 years ago, so it would probably be a little over $300, now.) With traditional insurance and a typical doctor, my out-of-pocket cost would have been similar, plus the insurance company would have paid thousands. That money, in the final analysis, would've mostly paid for bureaucracy and paperwork, rather than medical care. At Access Healthcare, all you buy is the medical care. THIS is how real medical reform should work! It is encouraged by President Bush's HSA/HDHP-based reforms. Sadly, ObamaCare (unless it is repealed) is going to gradually squeeze this kind of practice out of existance. It will require that everyone have insurance, and that every insurance policy pay for 100% of routine checkups and other preventive care. That will not only jack up the cost of insurance, and add the insurance company overhead to every minor office visit, it will also mean that medical practices which don't accept insurance won't have any customers for routine checkups. And, since everyone goes to the same doctor for illness & minor injury that they go to for checkups, the no-insurance docs won't have customers for those things, either. They won't have any choice but to start taking insurance, and hire the staff to handle the paperwork. Then, once they DO accept insurance, they'll not only have the same additional overhead/cost that other docs have, ObamaCare will require them to comply with every regulation issued by the Secretary of HHS, or else the insurance companies won't be allowed to contract with them. The bottom line is that unless ObamaCare is repealed, government will be in charge of your medical care, instead of great doctors like Dr. Brian Forrest of Access Healthcare. Dave

I was…read morespecifically looking for someone who was board-certified, local, actively involved in research, and committed to continuing education and advanced training. After a lot of searching, I found Dr. Hunter, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first consultation, I knew my experience would be different. Dr. Hunter personally greeted my family and me in the lobby, which immediately made me feel welcome. During my consultation, I shared all of my concerns and the areas I wanted to improve. He listened carefully, never rushed me, and offered thoughtful recommendations based on my goals. I've been to many medical appointments where I've left feeling unheard, but that was never the case with Dr. Hunter. His confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in my decision. I had my surgery in December, and now that I'm six months post-op, I can honestly say I LOVE the way I look. My results exceeded my expectations while still looking natural. One thing I was initially nervous about was that I didn't see many women who looked like me on the website. However, from beginning to end, I was treated with exceptional care and respect. The hospitality from the entire Amelia team was truly unmatched. Every interaction made me feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for, and that meant everything to me. Whenever I had a question or concern, someone responded quickly by phone or email. I never felt like I was navigating my recovery alone. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Hunter and every member of the Amelia team for helping me through this journey. Choosing them was one of the best decisions I've made, and I would recommend them without hesitation. For anyone considering a mommy makeover, my procedure included: * Tummy tuck * Small hernia repair * Breast reduction * Liposuction to the flanks Thank you, Dr. Hunter and the entire Amelia team, for helping me feel confident in my own skin again. I will forever be grateful.

Plenty of private room and space to wait for your loved one. as any business of this type, it's staffed by beautiful young women who don't need one iota of anything done to themselves, but have everything from duck lips, Botox, fillers and the works. It always cracks me up. Why? Because beauty and anti-aging sells! And they represent the product! These ladies, however, are as down-to-earth and sweet as possible. My sister claims that the experience is top-notch from top to bottom, and just sitting here waiting on her and talking to the staff, definitely confirms that!

The first one Cryo fat reduction, cost over $2000 and was a total waste of time and money. I exercise and eat well, and I was promised that the results would be great. I totally should have known it was a gimmick, as they advertised on FB/Instagram. Here is where I made a horrible mistake by allowing Tiana to administer a facial. I had beautiful skin, and when she finished, my skin was red, burning, and there were broken capillaries all over my face. To date, I have been under a dermatologist's care and medication for 18 months and counting. This little establishment has caused me so much pain and depression from a $100 facial. Furthermore, when she was performing the facial, my cheekbones hurt for days, and my neck and skin on my face burned for weeks. I had a few conversations and texts with Eric, who is the owner, to no avail. This establishment will not take accountability and only makes excuses. They will threaten and use words such as "blackmail" when I ask for a refund for both ineffective procedures. I have text messages that will corroborate this. Please, if you don't want to have this horrific experience, I beg you to take heed to this review. I pray nobody will ever have to have this traumatic experience as I have to live with. Lastly, if I could have given them 0 stars, I totally would have, as 1 is definitely too much.

Edit: I am including this part in response to the owner. The only mobility issue I have is I can't stand long. My laying on the chair/bed with a knee bolt has no way, shape, or form, any impact on the quality or performance of the service. Because laying for your service is a standard. But on a serious note, please inform me. Apart from having a knee cushion under me, what parts of the service was "adapted" for me? So I know what the baseline and changes were. You were made aware of my limited mobility, as I said over the phone that I cannot stand long and you responded that you have a mechanical chair that moved into a flat bed, and that there is a knee bolt and option for lumbar support. So there would be no standing involved. It still doesn't answer the question of what parts of the service was "adapted" for me, and it doesn't explain why the back half of my head was neglected. I digress. Actual review: I got a 60 minute service and was genuinely underwhelmed and disappointed in myself for spending over 200 dollars (including tip) on this. I work in customer service so I try to tip well, but this just felt like a waste. Technician never checked in with me about the pressure, the bottom half of my head felt super neglected. The only times she "lifted" my head up was to place/remove towel and a zippered-bonnet. And by lift, I would feel pressure on the crown of my head, nudging me to lift my head. When she nudged me to turn my neck to get the sides, the back of my head and hair was barely touched and it was mostly neck strokes. Like literal stroking down my neck. It could've been nice, but she focused on my right side more and breezed through my left side so it was uneven but whatever. When product was directly applied to my scalp, she stopped at the top of my head. So imagine if I'm wearing headphones, and that was like a hard boundary. That's where she stopped. In the end, my scalp feels like there's residue from the products, my back half of the head doesn't feel clean and just feels like soapy water runoff was just chillen there. If I scratch my scalp, there's literal gunk under my nail from the products used. I also asked for a receipt be sent to my phone, which I am still waiting on. So yeah. I envy those who genuinely had really good experiences here. But for someone who just had surgery and can't stand long, I was really looking forward to a good clean. Super disappointed and underwhelmed, and the 30 minute drive made it feel more like a waste of money.

My hair and hands needed the most love and boy did they get it! The chair is incredibly comfortable and the neck, shoulder, and arm, massage left me feeling like I melted. I highly recommend this service as a luxurious way to treat yourself or a loved one. This would be a fabulous treat for an anniversary, teacher appreciation, birthday, or other special recognition.
