Literally argued with some girl named Christine or christina because she numbed me and I told her I can still feel it and that it felt weird because I usually can't feel anything after. Refused to listen to me, gave me attitude like I didn't know what I was talking about and when it came time to do my thing it was so painful we had to stop and re numb me. Go ahead and spend your money somewhere else where they value customers!

I spent thousands- I'm so embarrassed and sick! No reply from owner and I called the manager, Laura, but she basically said it's my problem. I had to pay full price, hundreds of dollars, to get it out and it still looks horrible. They were not helpful or caring what so ever! A new person I'm going to delute the awful filler said she was shocked how much BodyLase injected into my face! Buyers beware! A nitemare for me financially and physically!

I had been receiving Botox from this location in Cary for about 1.6 years. I was a steady customer. I spent a great deal of money. I became hospitalized for 4 months as a client over 65. During the last year, I had to cancel several days before on just 3 occasions, and on one occasion, the day before, rushed by ambulance to WakeMed. EVERY time I called as a professional courtesy, the most recent, one of the untrained young girls literally said to me, "hold and I'll see if we can cancel you!" I replied "excuse me? What does that even MEAN? I'm in the ER! Should I contact my attorney?" I was punctual as always to my last appointment. As I went to make my next appointment, happily saying "I thought I was over the critical time where I could die".. INSTEAD of CONCERN, empathy or acknowledgment, either the first untrained employee or another untrained employee NOT ONLY demanded $50 upfront "in case I cancelled my next appointment"!, but NONE of the staff employees offered ZERO concern or acknowledgment!!! I was flabbergasted! As a Duke University Chemistry professor and neurologist on sabbatical, I asked "are you familiar with the American with Disabilities laws? Are you familiar with the empirical fact that I've NEVER been a 'no show"?.. that even in the ER I was professional enough to call?" I stated "I won't be back." In addition, my pattern as an established client is once a month with a $140 budget. On EVERY OCCASION Stacie would make me EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and would purposely attempt to elicit more money by stating- with a very over concerned coercion, "You know.. because you get such low amounts that this won't hold unless you purchase X amount of units!" As I have been receiving Botox for a staggering 35 YEARS, I was aware of this fact and had to repeat again, and again and again, "I'm so sorry to disappoint you-as I'm disabled until I heal, this is the most I can do every month!" This is the ONE thing I do for myself. It should be a day/event of peace and joy. Instead, I left each session sad, embarrassed and purposefully insulted and demeaned. In addition, Stacie informed me "she couldn't inject me anymore as she was now only going to work on 'top-tier' customers!!" I wouldn't send my enemy to this place! It's hilarious to see uneducated, unattractive front reception employees try to pose as authoritarian figures to an MD, who was temporarily quite disabled in recovery.

From the very first appointment, she took the time to understand my skin and its needs, recommending treatments and products that have genuinely made a HUGE difference in my skin. She has an amazing eye for what your skin needs based on your goals. She also has a long-term approach to skincare, which I LOVE, and I've never once felt pushed toward unnecessary treatments--which is one of my biggest pet peeves! I feel confident and cared for every time I walk out of her treatment room, and truly enjoy our conversations during our sessions. If you're looking for someone who is not only kind but also deeply knowledgeable and results-driven, I cannot recommend Kelly enough!

I was concerned about the recovery because of my age, but I feel like my recovery was right where it needed to be. I am almost 4 months post op. I was able to return to work after 2 weeks of my procedure. I would also like to say that his front office staff was always so pleasant and professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting Janell (patient coordinator) and she was nothing short of incredible, she explains everything as far as charges for the procedure and you leave with no questions. When I went in for my post op visit with Rachael everything was explained in detail and I left excited for the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Stoeckel and Wake Plastic Surgery if you are contemplating plastic surgery.

I accept some responsibility for not being more specific than "slight". Surgery went well, but I developed complications, including a MRSA infection that created a hole in my left breast that constantly drained fluid. I contacted the office when the incision started draining and was told the doctor was out of the country and there was no one that could help me. I had to go to an urgent care center to pack the wound and give me instruction on how to change dressings (which involved inserting gauze into the hole). I went to my own physician for wound cultures when it didn't seem to be healing..that's when the MRSA was discovered (commonly caused by lack of proper sterile techniques during surgery). I had to do dressings for over 2 months until it healed, then the breast developed tethering (some lower breast tissue sticking to upper abdomen). I had a revision for this, but that breast is even smaller due to creating a new scar and cutting away the first (and another charge for this correction).

One of a transgirls first (and longest quests) is hair removal, especially if don't have a strong start (chest hair). I didn't find it easily, it's a business inside of another business, in this case, a chiropractors office. When I went, Annie, the receptionist greeted me and I filled out some paperwork. The paperwork included options for transgender (which is nice, and necessary for the best work to be done). From recommendations with friends, I saw Andrea (ask for her specifically, who you book with, matters), and Andrea treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. The consultation was direct and to the point (my face and hair allows me to get laser done) and she was gracious enough to roll in a treatment, (she goes very fast if you can stand the pain) I really liked how personable she was. Laser is painful, so someone talking to you throughout the process is a godsend. You can tell Andrea has done this a ton, her speed and attention to detail showed. I thought the place was relatively clean, the laser setup looked pretty modern, and there are different settings for different areas of the body. I'm really looking forward to my future visits on my quest to become the woman I know I am. I would recommend this place without reservations.
