Working with Troy is amazing. It's not often you find a contractor who is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, willing to spend extra time explaining the process / findings and is always there when he says he will be. We had 48 hour do our sewer scope before buying a new house in Portland, and he unmasked a big problem during the inspection that we were able to have the previous owner's fix prior to moving in. Beyond sewer scope, he's helped scope all our drain lines, and helped us build a plan for how to keep the water away from the house. Truly above and beyond, and I'd never get any plumbing scoped from anyone other than 48 hr inspection! read more

I had 48 hour inspection for my sewer scope, they came recorded the video and provided an analysis of the pipe. The tech called out multiple types of materials within the line and provided the recommendation that it looked good and was clear of issues. cut to 2 years later and I'm having my entire sewer line replaced in my front yard. the tech failed to correctly identify the type of material within my line. Failed to notice bad connections. Failed to notice the bottom was rotted out of the line and cracks were appearing. The sewer line replacement plumbers with 20+ years of experience identified all of these issues when i showed them the video from the original inspection. My line was 68 years old and the pipe material was fully rotten on the bottom. I am going to be out upwards of 15k dollars due to this issue. Of course, in the contract I have no recourse against 48-hour inspection, so please let my review be a warning. Get a certified plumber to come and do your inspections. Or make sure you get the Sewer line add on in your home insurance.... read more

I hired 48 Hours Inspection to re-scope my sewer line as part of the sale of my home. They were able to send a team member out to my home within two days which is tremendous for this very busy time of home buying/selling. Troy arrived to my home early for the appointment and was ready to work as soon as I arrived. He spent extra time explaining to me details about the sewer line, and a couple of alternative options for treatment as well. He was clear with his explanations and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Troy's work especially if you are in the process of buying/selling a home. read more

In purchasing a home, I hired a service that bundled a sewer scope with the home inspection. They were unable to run their scope to the street leaving me with unanswered questions. I turned to 48 hour and hired them to come do the job as they had different equipment and more options and choices of length and size of scopes. They were able to find a clean out that enabled them to access the view to the street and verify that all was functioning fine. Wish I would have contracted with them in the beginning as they have the expertise to do the job right and well the first time. read more

We needed a sewer scope to give us peace of mind before closing on our new home. The entire process was simple and quick! It was easy to schedule an appointment, I was able to pay online and recieved confirmation shortly after scheduling. The gentleman showed up on time and completed the scope pretty quickly! He even sent a video of the scope to my email, which was nice for us to be able to take a look at the sewer system ourselves! I highly recommend this company. They made the process a breeze and they offer reasonable prices! Thank you! read more

These guys did a great job. They were on time, very efficient and got us the reports we needed. I would highly recommend them.

Troy is fantastic. He scoped a building we are purchasing and we could not find the access. He troubleshot and we worked backwards to get the job done to avoid having to schedule another visit. We found the access and did the scope only to find three intrusions in the line that need to be dealt with. Great to work with. Highly recommend. read more

Troy was able to scope our sewer on a home we're buying with one day's notice. I liked the video and Troy's explanations and like the fact that 48 Hour Inspection only does inspections and not repairs and so there is no conflict of interest. Thanks, Troy! read more

We had 48 Hour Inspection come out all the way to Salem to do a sewer scope one what is now our home. Jason was the one to come to the sewer scope, he did a great job and was very informative. Later that day, I received a link to go watch the sewer scope video they made. It was posted on YouTube. I was very happy with their services. Troy and 48 Hour Inspection are awesome. My home inspector recommended 48 Hour Inspection to conduct a sewer scope. I contacted Troy that day and we made an appointment for the very next day. I arrived early for the inspection and Troy was already there waiting for me. He was very professional in explaining the process and what he was looking for during the sewer scope. Once he completed the scope I had my report and video of the scope within 7 hours. It couldn't be easier. I highly recommend 48 Hour Inspection! read more

Someone had to run into the sewer from hell and it was me. And I hired Troy to look at it. And it took him a long time over two days to figure out what we had. He received almost no help from the county. The bottom line is Troy stuck with it it until he could give us a thorough report. And he did it for the original quote. I highly recommend Troy and 48 Hour Inspection. It is special when you run into someone of Troy's professionalism and integrity. Thanks Troy. read more

Troy was friendly, professional and thorough. Highly recommend him

My husband and I have just recently sold our home and bought another home. Troy was hired by the buyers of our old home to do the sewer scope. His initial scope found a block and his recommendation was that the whole sewer line would need to be replaced, which could cost upwards of $10,000. He made this recommendation without figuring out exactly where the block was and what was blocking the line. This put both my husband and I, as well as the buyers of our home in a panic. We almost lost the sale of our home! After my husband and I did our due diligence and got a second opinion, it was found that the block was in the main sewer line and that is was the cities responsibility. After the city fixed the issue, they brought Troy back and he responded that the line was clear. The sale went through but the stress that was brought to both families was unnecessary. We would highly recommend you to go somewhere else if you were to sell/buyl a home because I would fear that his services may bring on added stress to the sellers and buyers. read more
