This is a mecca for any seafood lover. The food here is so good and the produce so fresh that you…read morewon't find anything like it for miles. Its a real rustic kind of place and you can't help but feel relaxed when inside. The staff are friendly and helpful and always offer some advice on which is a good thing to order (there's so much to choose from! There's always something on the menu that has been caught that day which is a real treat to taste but usually go for something from the 'spoiler' menu (so called as its good to spoil your self once in a while) and last time went for the Fish Factory Wellington which is like a beef wellington but with cuts of fresh fish in a cheese sauce. Its decadent but absolutely mouth watering!

This was hands-down, top five best fish I have ever eaten so far. We were okay to wait and it was so worth it. The bouillabaisse ordered by my brother, gosh, I wanted to lick his plate clean. In fact I will so order this dish if lucky enough to go back. But my grilled fish (I got the special of the night, forget the type) was pretty fantastic too. The third diner got the same as me, and we both just loved the taste of the marinade which was super clean, and just totally complimented the taste of the fish. We both also found that our seafood dishes were grilled to absolute perfection. I am so envious of the locals that they have this excellent restaurant in their area. If you are visiting and don't try a meal here, it would be a real loss. As for me, I need to plan another trip to Littlehampton so can dine here again!

You can't walk more than a few feet in Brighton without seeing a seafood restaurant. And in our…read morecase this was the second choice as the first restaurant we wanted was fully booked, but honestly, I don't mind and I am glad the first place was book as this restaurant was excellent. The layout is a bit dated but don't let that fool you, with a view of the beach across the street this is a lovely place to have dinner. My girlfriend and I both had grilled fish options. I went with the Salmon and she had the Sea Bass. Both were delicious, although hers was looking up at her with sad dead eyes. We also had some shrimp as an appetizer that was excellent. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that we went in August of 2020 (the era of COVID) and the waitress and others working at the restaurant were not properly wearing masks. The waitress had one on, that she would pull down when talking to us so as to be heard better. Making the mask pointless

We had a little bottle of fizz each, while we were waiting, 200cl like you used to get on airplanes...drinkable, fun experience..£5 each....seriously there is nothing not to like! And nearly everyone in there was a regular or returned every year when on holiday...everyone seemed to know everyone..and you will understand why they comeback...we will Great (unusual) place, run I think by Greek Cypriots...a lot of Greek stuff on the menu too Check it out!

Bryce's claims to be the premier fish dining venue for fresh fish in the south. A brave claim as…read moreit's located in the heart of deepest, darkest Surrey a fair distance from the sea. I have a friend who loves seafood and so we headed off together in search of pescatorian perfection. The restaurant is located in a small Surrey village and is slightly hard to spot - we managed to drive right past it the first time through the village. It wasn't terribly busy when we dined, which enabled the staff to be nicely attentive. We dined in the restaurant though they do serve a cheaper menu in the bar. The menu is exclusively seafood, so beware if you're a carnivore of vegetarian. No such problems for me and my friend and we settled on crab risotto and langoustine bisque for starters and red mullet with ginger broth and scallops en croute for our mains. The crab risotto was nice but the dish could have done with another element, maybe some texture to break up the fact that every spoonful tasted the same. The langoustine bisque was again nice though I'm not the substitution of langoustine for the traditional bisque seafood ingredients brought any freshness to the concept of bisque The red mullet had an oriental foil to play against - this worked well for quite a strong fish to be balanced with the ginger. The scallops en croute was really not a success in my book - odd use of such a magnificent ingredient as sweet scallop. I applaud Bryce's for its ambition, bravery and skill in keeping a pure seafood restaurant going for 16 years in its little village location. However, due to price and remote location, I don't see myself rushing back to eat here anytime soon. The food was above average rather than stellar
